Gonna go against the grain here but I think he should have been far more scathing in that statement. A few little "yet again false stories appearing" or "another reason we would advise our support not to buy this paper" lines would have made it much, much better.

Nah, that just sounds petty and something the rankers would say, it's pretty much perfect the way it is, plus, why would he release an open letter to a paper he would then advise our supporters not to read, doesn't make sense.

Llike most other Celtic fans I am very happy to see Lawwell make such a strongly worded statement regarding the latest lies being put out there in the press. I think it is very important that Celtic as a club and it's leading officials continue to be vocal and very public with their condemnation when misinformation is put out there. Well done Peter Lawwell
