Scripting in FIFA, Yes or No?

In different seasons sometimes you play good players, sometimes you player not so good players. Its all down to the luck of the draw. I dont have a clue how you got matched with the same guy, but what is the relevance?

The EA forums are full of mugs mate. I seen a thread where some guy was crying about other players (or n00bs as he called them) passing the ball backwards from kick-off If 70% honestly felt they where being cheated them many wouldnt play!

You just are unlucky in some games and luckier in others.

That alone should show how it cant be scripted. If fifa fixed games where money is involved they would get in serious trouble!!!

 

Not for me.

I win most of my games online and rarely ever lose two games in a row. Never been relegated, either.

 

'Momentum' is essentially scripting under a different guise, EA have basically admitted it and called it momentum for it to sound acceptable and realistic.

I could just say 'The momentum was against me the whole match, my players weren't making runs, couldn't control my defence, kept on hitting the woodwork'. It's no different from calling it scripting, they've made it too prominent in the game to the point where it's clear as daylight that there's a clear advantage for you or against you, it's not subtle like it should be.

 

Momentum isnt a script mate.

Celtic have the momentum in the SPL. It just means full of confidence basically. When you are playing well and enjoying your football/gaming it is more likely that you will pull of certain things.

Nah, but this isn't just me playing with momentum. the game actually gives one player an advantage and calls it 'momentum'.

 

i was losing 1-0 online yesterday. I scored 4 goals in 6 mins (in game) between the 55th minute and 61st minute. Then he quit which for once I dont blame him

Think t may have been scripting, everything was just flying in.

 

Fifas statement certainly does not suggest this as some people are saying.

 

This game is a complete joke. It has given me NOTHING since the update. Prime example (and this sort of thing has happened DOZENS of times). Completely dominated a game as Leicester from start to finish. I was 2-1 up. The guy scored a decent counter attacking goal to be fair. Then I run up the park Beckford blitzes past the defence cuts it back to Nugent who is less than 6 yards out. I deliberatley take a touch onto his stronger foot as not to miss this AMAZING chance. Then I do nothing more than TAP the shoot button, pretty much trying to PASS it into the net... Which incedentally had NO GOALKEEPER OR PLAYER protecting it. He was BANG IN THE MIDDLE of the goal and was CLOSER than 6 yards out.

What does Nugent do... he ABSOLUTELY SMASHES it with full power, cannoning off the bar. How the * does that happen when I merely skiffed the shoot button????????? my player tries to volley it and completely misses the ball. He counters, I tackle his player near the corner flag, it goes STRAIGHT back to him. I slide in again and win the ball, then somehow the ball bounced STRAIGHT BACK to his player again. He comes into my box and SMASHES a shot into the keepers near corner, the gap was * TINY.

I honestly couldn't have scored it if I tried 100 times. So he gets a 2-2 draw out of absolutely nothing.

I have had 3 relegations because of things like this and I am totally sick of it and this game to be honest. If this is the best that EA have to offer then I think I'm going to invest my time in a more rewarding and balanced game.

 

Brillaint last night, beating this guy 1-0 at Half Time but I knew it was scripted, I had to literally walk the ball in the net, I had about 7 one on one's and missed each one, I knew I would end up losing despite dominating play, 2nd half I round the keeper, empty net, I click 'Circle' to shoot and Stokes physically waits a good 2 seconds before shooting, by which time the defender had good a goal line clearance, what a load of rubbish, he then had two chances and scored both to beat you 3-2 in a game I had chance after chance, conceded a pathetic penatly which I clearly won the ball, not a single doubt in my mind this game is scripted, far too obvious.

lol i think sum folk are paranoid here . it's just momentum change and it dont help wi this gk mode but the game is not scripted

 

Of the people who don't think it's scripted have they played the mode 'Head to Head' seasons alot? Your not going to see scripting in 35 games or something, play over a 100 or something and you will begin to see the patterns emerging, my pattern is....

Like I say, I think EA loves players who just think it's "Pure luck of the game".

Esse1995 who is ranked as the 3rd in the world has become my friend recently and he's played more than 1500 games online (which is a bit sad) and when I asked if some games are scripted his EXACT reply...

"lol does a Bear * in the woods?"

100% scripted. I don't care what anyone says. You can't win 4 ut tournaments in a row then suddenly not be able to win a game. It's bollocks.

 

This absolutely is * spot on, basically what I've been saying but just putting it more bluntly nobody is telling me that I can go on a 20 game unbeaten run to winning 1 game in 10 without something dodgy going on.

 

It's just sad folk who are trying to find something else to blame other than their poor performance.

 

It's not sad at all, scripting exists, its obvious.

I could list so many things that you do/say that are just sad Daz...
