    I don't actually think we were at our best in the first half today and in the second we had a dominant 20 minute spell but let up on them a bit at 4-0. In the Hearts game there was a lot more drive I reckon.

    I don't think we hit anywhere near the heights today that we did against hearts, except for the 2nd goal. The pressure for a result was on against Hearts and the lads delivered our best performance of the year.

    First of all, how good is it that we are debating what pumping was the best? :icon_mrgreen:

    They were both excellent performances but i think purely on the overall footballing performance, i think Hearts edges it for me.
    We were superb for 90 minutes that night. In a game that is always a tricky tie, we simply destroyed them and were magnificent all over the park.

    Today however, i was almost as equally pleased but for a slightly different reason. I, like many of you, was concerned that the players may have become distracted by events elsewhere. It could be easy to become complacent and take the foot off the gas. Thankfully though, the players put those fears to rest for me with some great goals and showing some real hunger.

    I didn't think we were at our best in the first half particularly and a few times we got caught in possession but to win 5 nil and keep a clean sheet, it would be harsh to be too critical. I'm just delighted at the run of form we are on and i think we are showing that even without the orcs being deducted 10 points, we still have what it takes to win this title. Neil Lennon deserves great credit for keeping the players focused and the players deserve enormous credit for showing the desire. The fans were outstanding as ever.

    Definitely the Hearts game. There was a lot more pressure on us then before Rangers had been docked points. Hearts are much better opponents as well.

    That said, today's game was still a joy to watch. Ki proved that we don't even to know we're shooting before we've scored nowadays. :D

    diets game for me. harder oppo and better goals. i mean ki scored today without having a clue what happpened the day. plus the fact that hearts actually scored makes pumpin them 4-0 makes it even funnier

    Hearts easily. I can't remember ever seeing a poorer Hibs team. Even the one that played in the first division were better.

    Hearts still have some half decent players.
