i think the vast majority of the SPL has been improved due to the transfers during Jan. we have stepped up a gear and have seemingly discovered how to grind out results.

i think the other SPL teams will be more competitive and we'll have to keep focus to get the wins and i can see Rangers dropping a lot of points from now until the end of the season. everyone can harp on about how Rangers have gotten weaker but they've only lost one first team player in Jan. the main problem for them is that the other SPL teams have started to close the gap on them.

if they survive and the rest of the SPL improve as they've done in the last window, they'll be lucky to come runner up in 2013. seriously hope the other teams carry on with their work and progress. they know it's all wide open now. Dundee Utd went for them. no one should show them respect as they're there for the taking.

Look back at Kilmarnock and the 3-3 game.

Compare and contrast with last night.

We have came on leaps and bounds, it's unbelievable really. We're on fire and long may it continue.

I would argue that other teams have improved over recent years to the point where old firm games no longer decided the title because, as has been pointed out, teams no longer feared either us or Rangers. Now? Teams are terrified of playing us and jumping at the chance to play Rangers. The mighty Gers are fading from the forefront of Scottish football, and i'm loving every minute of it.

I have never seen a defence change in form like this during a season like this? How many goals have we conceded since Killie in the league? I will be surprised if it is more than 5.

The defence bucking up their ideas is installing belief into rest of the team in my opinion

a fully fit squad with a fit and in form kayal and izzaguirre ( still our two best for me ) , then we would get through to the last 16 imo. if this team stays together and gels for 3 or 4 years , then who knows what the potential success could be . :50:

We've made a huge improvement, definitely. Celtic Park will be the place nobody in the SPL wants to travel to, it's almost a certainty that we'll take the 3 points but we're taking nothing for granted.

Away from home, teams are setting up to try and avoid defeat but there's nothing stopping us with our clinical finishing recently. Most importantly, our defence are looking a lot more assured.

Long may this form continue because we're playing brilliantly.

The huns have obviously gotten worse thats without a doubt, as far as we go our depth has improved immensely all over the park, we have that extra bit of grit needed to win tight games which we lacked last season and weve basically added more quality to the team with matthews, wanyama etc, plus ofcourse the team and management have that bit more experience this time round.

Only area i think we havent improved is our passing and link up play, last season we were great at both but this year we havent been as easy on the eye imo, still good but not as dynamic or fast flowing as last season, alot of it is down to the absence of commons and izzy.

I think we're better. Lost our attack happieness at the cost of fragile defence. Defending crosses better, attacking as a unit and holding a much improved shape. The nervousness that crept into our play when we were under pressure seems to have gone, we're holding the ball better and we have great outs in big Sammy and Forrest if we want to take the ball for a run. Not the finished article by a long chalk but we're starting to get back that confidence that, even when it's tight, a goal will come from somewhere. If they win this league I think we'll kick on next year.

I don't think we have got any better, its just teams try a bit to put there self in the shop window when playing us, we find it harder to rake up big scores most weeks
against these teams, then to look back, at your last opponent, to see them then get humpt with a lesser team than them self a 3 or 4 nil, and us only managing a 1 goal
result, why is it happening, we are static at times, and don't have enough skill to
put them to the sword, a progressive team would have no problem with that at all.IMO

we are still average...its just that we have a bigger squad with a bit more quality that makes the difference as the season moves on..

You don't go on the run we have if you are average.

Look at how unlucky we were in Udinese as well.

Best group of players in a long time.

I think that we're getting better. Some of our players are starting to hit form and I have a feeling it's going to start showing in the results. Someone is due a hammering if we ever get them all hitting form on the same day. The hearts game showed we're not far off it when we up our game.

I am truly excited by our squad at present after the poor start to the season we have went on an amazin run, not to mention the Udenese game which really made me sit up and notice our team.

Average age 22/23 I feel we have some real good times ahead if we can keep this squad. Others have got worse but you cant deny we are on a different level from where we where this time last year.

Much better. The addition of Wanyama and Matthews this year has been great and Sammy and Brown coming into rich veins of form.

Onwards, upwards and on to better things.

I think we have stopped gifting teams silly goals- this in my opinion is the big difference between us now and us last season. I dont think other teams are really any better or worse. We have simply stopped making life tough for ourselves and we are making teams work to create goals. We went through a period last season where it felt as if we were almost gifting teams a 1 goal start.
