I'm so happy he's playing well because I truly believe he loves Celtic and will stay here forever if able. It's nice to see someone won over to our great club that can perform at a high level.

Would love for him to start getting on the score sheet more often. Great finish tonight under that kind of pressure

His game has really come on lately, good all round performances becoming more frequent.

Really maturing as a player now.

Looked good again last night although thought he shouldve done better with his shot from just inside the box first half

Starting 11 left wing first choice atm for me

Fans change their minds like the weather based on individual games.

And rightly so. If a player has a bad game he should get pelters and if he performs well he should be applauded.

He does seem to get a lot more abuse than others when he under performs though.

He has under performed for the most part.

There was very little doubt in my mind that he would step up on the big stage again, it's obvious he's one of the players than can shine at this level. I don't think it was a spectacular performance but he got on the score-sheet which was fantastic to see.

I thought he was particularly impressive when we were on the defensive as well.

Well done to Lennon for getting the best from him.

Always had a soft spot for the big man, glad he's playing with such confidence.

Some people always look for the negative in a positive, we won, he scored and he under performes sometimes like everyone else... No big deal!

Honestly, I think that when he wants to be, he is our best player. The only problem being it's only when he wants to be, although recently he has been great. Keep it up Sammy :50:

    * love the big man, it took some amount of character to get over the disgraceful abuse from the fans and for all the question marks about consistency, for my money he's not had a bad game since November and he certainly consistently turns up in the big matches.

Don’t think I will ever be Sammy's biggest fan as his inconsistency frustrates the * out of me....however he has been battered by the fans and the press (maybe at times with some justification) however he always shows, never hides on the pitch, never seems to get a mystery injury.....that takes guts and kinda leaves you thinking that one thing you cannot question is his commitment to the club and desire to wear the jersey...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

I'll accept that at times criticism was warranted but I was/still am disgusted with some of the vile abuse I've heard Sammy take. Especially from the clown who sits behind me who still * moans any time he gets the ball...........

Still to lackadaisical at times for me, especially on the ball - but his efforts are impressing me more this season, and with parts of last season.

The only thing that is annoying me most about him now is when he gets fouled, he's down for fat too long holding his face or something, or when he gets fouled and the opposition is on the attack, he's sitting/lying there moaning for a free-kick.

Apart from that, he's growing on me - and he was always a player that I hated to hate.

Cannot believe those who still think Samaras is pish and for whatever reason still cannot see what he brings to the side.

I admit ... wasn't the biggest fan/believer up 'til about the latter stages of last season.

    Now?

I think it's crucial he's playing every single game.

He brings genuine quality. Plus, he seems to have toughened up ... in more ways than one. I like that.

Also, it's amazing how many people are genuinely coming around to this guy in this thread ... or have come around.
