Er, thanks :87:. I know that. I was suggesting that maybe we should try to sign him, not that we will manage to sign him. Make an ambitious (but not ridiculous) move, and sometimes it will pay off.

We might aswell make a move for mario gotze while we're at it aswell then

Papadopoulous would cost £15m+. There is no point putting in a bid when we have absolutely 0% chance of signing him. I doubt we could offer more than £4m for a player, if we tried to put in that sort of bid then they wouldn't even bother their * to respond to it.

The oldco were doing it last summer, putting in ridiculous bids for players and it was embarrassing, I'd rather we didn't do that, and just stayed realistic as to who our transfer targets are

I feel so sorry for you guys having to watch this guy every week. He's been soooo frustrating to watch over the last 2 weeks. In the first 2 games he was a complete donkey, he lost the ball every time he got it and his passing and shooting was terrible. It really * me off because I saw him a few times for Celtic this year and he looked like he'd improved.

Suddenly halfway through the Russia game he decided to turn up and he looked like Messi out there going past players with ease. He was decent against Germany as well. I just can't understand how a player can either be complete * or brilliant with no middle ground in between.

Anyway I hope he stays at Celtic, I used to want him to leave because I thought he could better himself but at 27 he's not gonna get any better and Greece have some really promising young wingers so I'm not too concerned about him. He really seems to love Celtic as well and he seems to be liked back and you can tell he's the kind of guy who just wants to be loved:50:.

He's the most frustrating player I've ever seen in the hoops.

He usually turns up in the big games for us, that's why he's probably looked better (Assuming the big games were the ones you watched).

^^ Yea but we know they're donkeys, they can't do any better. Samaras is actually quite talented which makes him more frustrating when he plays like that.

He's definitely not a scapegoat for Greece's failing, for me he improved his image with the last 2 games. The reason we did bad is because our team is full of 30+ year olds who won't retire and keep living off the glory of 2004. We actually have some decent young players who can play football instead of defending/falling around the pitch but they don't get a look in.

The first sentence there is absolutely nailed on why I'm frustrated with Sammy at times.

Thought Samaras had a great tournament actually, Quarter Finals for a poor Greece team and Sammy played very well.

Bang on about Sammy being either * or Messi lol, he's never had an "ok" game in his life.

Probably the most annoying footballer on the planet but I still love him!

Had a far better tournament than any of our other players, mate, that's for sure. :50:

Sammy and Ki are the only two players we have who've made a real impact at that level, with the possible exception of Emilio.

Surely we should be keeping the players who can actually cut it on the international stage?

He may not score as much as we all would like but he holds the ball up, wins headers and sets up other players. He will always be a legend for the double against "Them" away.

Spent about 4/5 hours making that, don't think there is anywhere else to upload it either?

People still frustrated with Sammy, despite having a consistently good season.

    Let it go.

It is impossible not to be frustrated by him, he can flutter between world class and dreadful in the duration of a game never mind a season.

All Celtic fans want is for him to be as good as he can be consistently.
