I think a lot of people were trying their Hector masks on ready for our visit to Ibrox whilst watching the game last night ....Word of advice , cut some holes in the masks where your eyes look through as obviously if you thought sammy was good last night you havent cut those holes yet :56::56::56:

He seems to be able to score only against Rangers, so let's play him on Sunday :50:

Its not a great record but he's not really been given a run in the team since Lennon took over.

I didn't think he performed poorly last night.

Although he's taking a lot of flack as usual.

A thats right i was at the game :50:anyone know the stats or where i could get them, on what our results are when samaras starts e,g how many won drawn lost, as compared to when he is not in the team.

Is it just me, or when he is in the team our results seem to suffer especially in europe.

Im not blaming him souley for the results but he does have a negative effect on our play, just look at hooper for example rarely has a good game when samaras is playing compared when hes playing with stokesy.

Im not sure, he only tends to start the tough games and was successful in several of the old firm games.

In Europe we've been poor the past few seasons with and without him, he offers something different, and with the right service can be an important player.

I like Samaras too. He thrives at Ibrox because he has a physical presence and excellent control of the ball. This let's our players get forward and start controlling the midfield. Some of the problems with hoops and stokes is the relative ease they give up the ball sometimes. It's this reason that Lenny will go with Sammy.

It's a possibility that Samaras could start and lets back him if he does.

He's capable of Hunskelping on his day.

In saying that though, I do hope Stokes and Hooper start.

I hope he starts tomorrow to be perfectly honest.

I think he will run riot. Especially since he will have a point to prove.

Like him or not, he will play today. He offers us a dimension that would otherwise be missing. We utilise his skill on the ball and his physical presence is different from young Forrest and Commons. If Samaras could score goals regularly, he would be not just good but exceptional and clubs across Europe would be looking at him. He played well on Thursday and I hope that this is the Samaras who plays today.
He is one of the most frustrating players I have seen at Celtic Park and I have been attending there since 1965, so have had more than my share of success and frustration. Hail Hail
