    He unfortunately has dissapointed on so many occasions and I cant see what he brings to the team. If he even looked as though he was putting his heart into it then maybe I would cut him some slack but he doesnt even seem to want it .I would not care if he never pulled on the hoops again

    Getting beyond a joke with the guy now. He's had far too many "last chances" and last night was final, final straw for me. :38: Was always hoping the January Ibrox game would be the turning point for him but it never was likely, was it? NEVER looks intersted. Only so much fans can take.

    Thing is, like someone pointed out, he'll probably play the lone striker role next week...:31:

    Hes the only player we have with an aerial threat and the only one who can play alone upfront. Thats why lennys kept him instead of shipping him out. Allows out to play 4-5-1 if we need to.

    As soon as i heard Samaras was playing i thought oh well here we go another long night.
    What does Lennon see in him, still living off 2 goals at ibrox. this imposter should be given a one-way ticket out of here. new season same head in hands excuse of another missed chance. Just goes to show you how "SHORT" we are when there is 2 or 3 injury's....we are NOT a strong team as some folk might seem to believe we are. Majstorovic is another accident waiting to happen. Get the effin chequebook out Lawwell !!!!

    seems to be everyones blaiming sammy for not winning tonight, you can't blame it all on one player, barely any of them played well tonight, but still don't know why sammy gets so many chances, get rid of him, get rid of a couple other players, we could of got big bianchi.

    Everybody has bad games and the frustration we have with him is he has so much ability going for him. But strikers need to score goals but the big chap just doesn't do that does he?

    I dont think he is being blamed for losing, i think most of the posts are annoyed at Lennon for keeping on playing him.

    I have been behind Sammy for ages now, defended him at CP and on forums. But i watched him very closely last night and i dont think he bothered his *. He just stood there and moaned about everything. He doesnt like playing with Stokes but he is a professional and should make an effort! Key word there being effort, i dont think he put any in.

    Sorry but his performance last night has turned me into one of the fans that wants to see him go. I watch him and i like his passion for the team and the effort he puts in, so i give him more chances, but once they go out of his game he is finished for me.

    Remember when he was here on loan? He was excellent! Scored some great goals, headers and was very passionate about the team. Now he has his 3 year contract he is providing nothing to the team.

    2 new strikers needed!

    Can't even blame Sammy for lastnight, he was told to play in a certain formation that wasn't working. Lastnight was Neil Lennon's fault as he decided not to change the tactics, i.e, formation, for the whole game, even when you could see after 20 minutes it wasn't working.
    But still, he is never a Celtic player. How many did he score last year? Get him off the books and someone who can play with consistancy.

    If Samaras is our back up striker then simple fact of the matter is were not going to win the league as he is probably the worst striker ive saw in a celtic jersey, Id rather have Murphy than him at least he tries and isnt a lazy and he also can win a ball in the air.

    Agree mate, he was well worth the money when we got him, but now it's beyond a joke, we can't afford to experiment with this turkey anymore. We need a serious challenger for the strikers. Or someone to make himself the main man with Hooper and sometimes Stokes alongside. We're Celtic!! :shamrock:

    wasnt all samaras' fault to be honest. the formation should of been 4-4-2 .. at times its as if sammy and stokes were trying to play 4-4-2 but forgot their nowhere near eachother because lennys told them to play this ridiculous 4-5-1!!!!!!

    How many times has this guy actually put in a good shift on the park, something like four or five in three years. He is luxury we can no longer afford.

    His teamates must be totally disgusted to see the level of commitment shown by this guy, show him the door before he blows yet another SPL title.

    im sick of the way he just stands there and shrugs his shoulders when something goes wrong, * gets on my wick something serious :47: why not turn and run like * to try and make up for your error instead of looking at someone else in the team and making them do something about it
