Trying to get a cheap deal by booking early for the Inverness game on the 11th. First game in a long while so want to do the weekender.. Anyone know of anywhere decent? Not wanting anything fancy but near the gallowgate and not the town center.

Also anybody know any of the pubs open early on a matchday, particularly Hagies bar or bar 67?

I will stay at Eurohostel that day and head for the Gallowgate as early as possible (around noon).

Eurohostel is in the town center, but it is only a 10 minute walk from Bar 67 and about 20 minutes from Hagies.

colours can be a bit dodgy on Duke st but should be ok matchday theres also the premier inn @ fullarton not particulary close to gallowgate but 20 min walk to the celtic supporters club London Rd you will need to sign up for membership but there are a cou[ple of pubs also springfield vaults london rd tavern and turnstiles they are pretty much shitholes or you could stay premier @ the gorbals right next to the brazen head and 10 mins walk from Glasgow cross (start of the gallowgate) you will find a few hotels popping up with the commonwealth games area's but 2 years away

@ Glasgow cross some of the pubs are open at 8am the rest open at 11

One beside the brazen might be best then, I'm always losing hotels when i stray too far to drink haha.
Will look for some near Dukes St, know about colours etc around there all too well.

    Thanks for the advice
