    tbh m8 it's the best name I've heard linked so far, who are these 'better options' then?, we are crying out for a target man link up type player who can do the business straight away (not a Bangura take a year to settle type!), all the other names being linked are playing overseas and might not settle here and have 1/10th the pedigree of Davies.

    I've actually thought for a good few years he'd be an excellent addition. Physical presence and good grit and determination about him. On an 18 month deal I'd be very pleased, definitely think he could contribute.

    Good signing, if it was to happen but I wouldn't bet on it considering it says us AND the huns are interested. The article looks like they're just throwing the old firm into the bargain for the effect.....

    He has actually got better as he has got older, winning his first England cap at the age of 33. Experienced, clever, * hot in the air, physical and basically everything we lack up front in terms of options.

    This would be a massive coup for Celtic if we somehow pulled it off.

    We could be his last chance of champions league football. Obviously nothing is guaranteed but we have a small chance, and any PL team that comes in for him is not going to be qualifying for the CL lets face it
