    I could justify it to the misses if the matches were 5-6 hours away, like Chicago, St. Louis, Columbus, Nashville. Fingers crossed.

    Out of all of those I can only really see it being played in Chicago. Huge city, a lot of people with Irish roots etc.

    dont see the point in playing teams that are in England we are suppose to set our stall out to attract new support it will not look so cool should one of the English teams beat us 4 or 5 nil we will loose potential fans, as when man u beat us over there.

    Jack Demsey's on 33rd St. ran a bus to Fenway Park last time, I would definitely do it again. The guys who ran it were great hosts, good guys, even sandwiches and alcohol on the bus included.

    but i thought the new rangers director was going to take the old firm around the world making millions....

    Great to see us over in the states, should bring in a few quid.

    this is why winning the league is extra important, last thing we need is to be facing 3 rounds of CL qualifying matches in early July rather than be picking up the $$$ in pre season tournaments.

    It is nothing definite but Celtic may be in Chicago July 21. I stress though this is nothing more then at the rumour level right now.
