True mate I wouldn't lie about this and try to get people in trouble over nothing I just felt really bad for the boy/man tht took the beating. I'm sure theyre all top guys and I know they were drunk from the moment I got on the train but as you say they know they went too far but sadly that does not make up for it

I know you're not lying mate, I know it happened it's just what I have been told differs from person to person so I'm strangely probably best getting the story from you as you were there and not drunk rather than 4 drunk guys even though they are my mates.

Of course knowing what they done is wrong doesn't make it alright, I'm just really hoping this doesn't go to far especially after reading the BBC website story where the headline says it was a sectarian attack, that worries me as if that is what the police at treating this as it wont end well

Sorry mate replied twice by mistake oh and sorry just thought you might of knew one of my mates . Hopefully the police don't take it as tht as I know exactly what happened and it was not due to sectarianism it was over cheek from the Celtic fan which lead to violence

 

Aye the sectarian headline from the BBC headline is really confusing/* everyone off, from everything I have heard from my mates and read from you the boy didn't get a beating for sectarian reasons so I would love to know why they decided to go with that headline

EDIT : I have just re-read the story and there is no mention from the Detective or anyone else that they think it was a sectarian attack so why the * have they gone with the sectarian attack headline

 

Becuase it's Celtic and Rangers, everything needs to be reported under 'secterian' becuase the stupid arseholes don't know what it means

 

They've used the word secterian to draw peoples attention to it so they could feature it. Without using it they would never have ran the story. Must have been a brave guy to have a go at a drunken group.

 

On the rangers forum they are saying hes registered disabled not sure what to believe off them but. Hopefully not true

 

If that is the sole reason and I can see no other reason for them to run that headline then that is completely wrong, it was an assault no doubting that but to put it under sectarian attack when they have no proof is wrong.

 

I hope you're right, but I'm sure we'll now see pictures of a neck brace and a wheelchair popping up in the media.

 

to be honest what the bhoys done to the sole guy in my head is completely and utterly wrong but at the same time i cant hang them out to dry because id be lying if i said i'd never been involved in something similar in the past.

drinking all day can turn normal people into absolute morons and i can testify to that. i have to respect the boy who got the beating though because i know i wouldnt have done what he did if i was in the same situation. id have asked them to be quiet but i would never have hit one of them first; that took balls (and a little pinch of stupidity).
