That was a rumour started on twitter, completely false. All BBC anywhere has posted is that we'll negotiate with his agent, so nothing agreed yet at all.

He has not signed anything yet.

Price is already set at £2m and Butland, apparently a young Birmingham player, is the back up keeper. Never even heard of him. Disgrace.

their ignorance towards Forster and Hooper is sad but expected even if Hooper scored 70 odd goals like Messi he still would have been dismissed.

sad thing really is I think if not for Rooney's ban him and Hooper could do well together

I'm sure there's ways of putting the pressure on like talking to other keepers.

I think the main problem here is he's a big stupid *, no offence if you're reading this big man, so i'm sure he himself wants to stay, he seems very very happy here in everything he does and says, the fact he's come here for 2 seperate loan spells would suggest that on its own.

But because he's not the sharpest sword in any given katana shop I fear he can be swayed by agents/advisors and people, and with all the gutter media up here saying he won't ever play for England whilst with Celtic, and even going so far as to get quotes from John Ruddy saying he needs to move to play for England :38:

I still am confident he will sign but the length of time it's taking is starting to worry me. Plus he * left me on FM to sign for * West Brom as well, even with Celtic being one of his favoured clubs and me being his favoured personnel!!

I hope to * the big man signs but I would understand if he went down south as it is true - the only way he'll play for England is if he plays in England but I hope he makes a decision soon so we know where we stand

When did he say he'll announce his decision by?

We are not a club to be held to ransom by any player.

I think it is now getting to the stage that you have to wonder when our option on the player runs out, if a deal isn't completed by that time it won't be done at all as the price will rocket from the £2m we can sign him for under the loan agreement.

Fee is agreed at £2m we have spoken with Newcastle that has always been the case.

FF is on holiday would guess he will be thinking on his future so would guess we will have a answer soon.

what Gordon was on a free transfer is sensational business. After two serious arm breaks, who knows?
