    Stokes is a better all round striker with far more to his game. Stokes will always give his 100%, same cant be said for Hooper.

    Two top players but I think Hooper is the better player inside the box but overall I think Stokes has more to offer as he can link play as well as score goals.

    Stokes is capable of producing moments of magic to change games, I don't think hooper is capable of that.

    For what it's worth, Stokes can do the spectacular but Hooper is more consistent.

    Anyway - two excellent players who make each other better. What more do you need?

    Stokes in the league but Hoops in Europe. Hooper is suited to a higher level, but Stokes is perfect at SPL level.

    Hooper is a much better player and so is more vital and valuable.

    Stokes is a good SPL player but much easier to find and replace, compared to a Hooper who we can rely on to score against anyone we play.

    Hooper is the far superior player. Stokesy is good in the SPL but I just have more faith in Hooper producing in the big games. Stokes is a great striker of the ball but overall his poor dribbling and poor hold up play continue to frustrate me.

    I fail to see how anyone can label Hooper 'a far superior player'. You may favour one over the other but both have very different attributes and are very different players.

    A lot of people seem to forget Stokes is a product of the Arsenal youth academy, a quality footballer and has a goalscoring record in the SPL the equal of any other striker that has played in this league.
