I woke up in my bedroom at my mums and my room was crammed full of people showing no emotion staring at me. I had mirror wardrobes and could see them in the reflection too. Lasted a few minutes and i couldn't move. Very very very very * scary. Had a few others but that was the worst.

Pretty sure I had something like this the other night....was drifting off but just before I fell asleep I got a strange ringing noise in my ear and couldn't move, I was aware it was happening and told myself to move but couldn't snap out of it, after 10 seconds or so of forcing myself to move I finally got back to normal.

Would of been the first to say people were talking * about this kinda stuff as well ha

There's a lot of members on here who has experienced sleep paralysis.

Did Scotland legalize marijuana while I was away?

I had a dream the other night, me, Roy Keane and Davie Moyes were looking for a key to deactivate a bomb that was going to end the world, we didn't find it in time and the bomb went off, the noise it made was mental, seemed so real, I ended up dying in the dream, woke up straight after it * myself, didn't think it was possible to die in a dream.

It's called lucid dreaming. Have had a couple. Usually they involve flying, and most people get that excited when they realize they are in a dream that they wake themselves up.

You can actually train yourself to have lucid dreams.

Would lucid dreams actually count as being asleep,?

I think so. You're just actively dreaming, instead of being passive. Still asleep though.

The past few nights i've been woken up by what feels like someone calling my name into my ear.
Sometimes it's like a whisper and others it's yelled.

Not always me name either. Once it was like a gun shot or a door slamming.

I think I have had this once come to think of it. I have actually been thinking it was a paranormal experience but this could explain it.

Stayed at my dad's mates house which is supposedly haunted, woke up around 3AM absolutely roasting and dripping with sweat but couldn't move from the couch where I crashed, my hands were also on my chest and it felt as though I couldn't move them no matter how hard I tried, almost like someone was holding me down. Breathing was really erratic as well.

    Weird experience.

Couple of months ago I hap sleep paralysis for the first time; there was a woman standing at the end of my bed. She looked dead; her skin was discoloured and peeling off. She just stood there, staring at me.

It's been happening two or three times a week since then. Now when it happens I just keep my eyes shut, 'cause I'm too scared to see what's going on :smiley-laughing002:. Anyone know how to stop it happening?

I had this a couple of nights ago again, I've had it 3 times and each time I have the same dream before hand that I'm hiding out in an old fashioned building and I get caught hiding and as soon as I am caught in the dream I get sleep paralysis and someone is whispering in my ear. I try to ask who it is but the words won't come out and I always try and turn over to push them away for what seems like an eternity until my body finally wakes up. * terrifying tbh.
