I only ever get this when i take drink for 2 days in a row. an example was last night

I have experienced yellow monkeys dancing in my room, spiders dangling from the ceiling, mates or work mates pointing and laughing at me in the bottom of my bed. Horrible.

I also sometimes get that dreams of teeth falling out, someone told me its a sign of insecurity who knows....

Got this for the first time a couple of nights ago. scary stuff

Went to bed as usual, must have drifted off and all of a sudden i felt something pressing down on me. Was as if someone was pulling the duvet over each side of my bodyand I tried to move my legs, arms, body and just couldnt do it as i was being presssed down. All i could do was just watch helplessly. I could feel a prescence to the left of my bed but didnt see anything. I tried to call out but again couldnt force anything out. then it seemed to just go, and i got back to sleep again.

To be honest i didnt know there was such a thing but after doing a search on google it fits all the criteria of sleep paralysis. So glad i didnt see any of the supposed figures that many report. Most strange experience ive ever had, so clear and lifelike. Would be interested if my eyes were actually open during it all or if it was more like a dream.

    Disturbing experience.

First time it happened to me was years ago, remember thinking my room was haunted, one time a black shadow started to form on the ceiling,in the corner,it was really, really * sinister man.I read a bit about sleep paralysis and found out it wasn't really anything to be scared of,well according to most sources.Last time it happened I realised what was happening pretty quickly and in my head started laughing saying it's just a dream,a huge feeling of relief, like the fear draining and I can't remember having it since, that was like 2 years ago or something like that now.

Happened twice to me. First time i was just lying in bed and felt stuck, and some big demon thing was leaning over me and shouted my name. I woke up and actually googled possesion haha, was too scared to go to sleep again.

My mate gets it quite alot, he said to wiggle your toes and fingers then it's easy to wake up which i did the second time. I think you only get it if you sleep on your back so i sleep on my side most nights now and not had it since.

Happened to me a few years ago..i was lying on my back feeling wide awake but couldn't move..i could hear voices outside in the street people having conversations and the strange thing was it sounded like there was was a horse and cart clopping by on cobbled stones..i was totally paralyzed and could feel panic setting in my chest it felt like someone was holding me down, i was trying to shout out but couldn't and the voices outside were now drowned out by whispers all around me in the room, i swear they were saying my name but couldn't make out anything else..eventually i broke free of the trance and shot up off the bed screaming out like a mad man running aboot switching on all the lights in the hoose..had tae phone my maw just for someone to talk tae..it wiz 5am :52:

Horrible experience the first time it happened to me, I thought I was like one of the stories you hear on the news of people going to bed and waking up paralysed for life.

It's not that bad. The first time I had it I knew what it was though so maybe that helps.

Until a while ago I didn't even know what sleep paralysis was but after reading some of the stories on here they are reminiscent of an experience I remember having when I was younger. I remember lying in bed feeling awake and although I didn't see it I became aware that there was a creature walking up the stairs and it had the intention of killing me. I started to panic and was desperately trying to move and scream for help but I couldn't move or speak. The creature got to my bedroom door and that's when I don't remember anything else. I always put it down to just being a horrible nightmare but the way I felt matches up to other people's recollections. I've never experienced it since then but I always remember it because although it only lasted for 2-3 minutes it was terrifying at the time.

I get it quite a lot probably about once every week at least. Still a horrible experience though especially when it feels as if it's taking you forever to wake up from it.

Happened a couple of nights ago. I opened my eyes and could swear I saw something crawling up the side of my door and run along the wall. Must have just been hallucinations.
