    Does anybody else think this guy is one of the best strikers in the world? He does not seem to have a weakness in his game, he's got a great engine, he is quite fast, quite strong, very good in the air and is a clinical finisher. I think he might leave Napoli in January though, possibly to go to the EPL, and I think he would be like Aguero because he is that good he would not need a lot of time to settle in. He also improved a lot during 2010-2011 season, his first with Napoli.

    watched him since he was at Palermo and always thought he was a good player. Napoli are a good team but i think he needs to make step up soon, to AC, Juve or Spain

    New crespo, incredible striker. I can see him at chelsea if drogba leaves next year. I hope he stays at napoli though, they have an incredible team at the moment and i hope they manage to keep it together.

    You know, I absolutely * hate that attitude. Why does he have to go to England or Spain to prove he is the best in the world ? Why can't he be the best striker in the world while playing in Italy or Germany.

    Napoli have already beaten Man City over two legs and they are Englands best team so why the * would he want to go to an inferior team?

    You are just someone else buying into the propaganda that the Premiership in the best league in the world. And the Spanish ? Don't even get me started. It is so mediocre it's unbelievable, besides Barcelona and Real Madrid of course. Did you see Atletico Madrid at Celtic park ? They were utter balls, we should have won. Valencia against Chelsea ? Utter gash. The Spanish league is Scotland on a higher scale. 2 teams every year.

    Edinson Cavani is one of the top 5 strikers in the world. Edinson Cavani could play for Napoli for the rest of his career and still be in the top 5 strikers in the world.

    Then again you probably think Darren Bent and Bobby Zamora are better.

    Cavani is fantastic and for the record, I'd take him over robin van persie. Stronger, faster and just as good a finisher.

    Excluding Messi and Ronaldo I think the best striker in the world is currently Mario Gomez.

    Gomez is a great striker but I wouldn't have him up that far. Podolski is the Budesliga's best imo.

    Cavani isn't even the best striker in Italy for me. I would have Ibra and Di Natale over him.
