This ^^ guy is a class act both on and off the field I really hope he is at Celtic for years to come

I just watched the match on tv and it justified that this guy would not be a loss to us if he chose to leave in the Summer. At the game today he couldn't find anybody to pass to and went in the huff and played a pass out right and threw his hands in the air like a spoiled wean,the guy is getting paid handsomely to play the game yet he cant make room ,draw somebody out and pass forward. One of the most overrated players we have,invisible for weeks on end,pitches in with the odd goal now and then and becomes Super Joe

 

Him and Brown are two players who you wonder what they bring at times until they're missing. Not at his best today but still played pretty well I think.

 

I was annoyed with him today for probably the first time... he seemed to be getting frustrated at times with his team mates instead of carrying on with the game and when he was looking for some movement when there was clearly a couple of passes on..

He was poor enough today but he has been playing quite well for a while before this game so I wouldn`t worry too much. What I am worrying about is the Cardiff situation. He might want a move back to them in the summer. Its his club and I don`t think he would want to miss the chance to play for them in the top league in England. He might never get that chance again. Thats if Cardiff want him though. Hope no

 

Not his best game today , not often you can say that about Joe anyone that claims we would not miss him should he leave is * stupid .

 

I respect peoples opinions of Joe but i just don't see what others see in him.

 

Didnt have a good game which was surprising but hes still a cracking player...

 

Today's Sunday Post saying Cardiff are going to bid £4m

 

I wouldn't start talking to any club until £5m was on the table, with the exception of Cardiff; I wouldn't start talking to them until they offered £8m. They've got a shedload of money, they'd pay that for a fan favourite like Ledley, and he'd want to go. I say if they make a bid, let's milk it.

...Btw, anyone else think their owner looks like an Asian Bob Servant?

 

I think his time at Celtic is limited now with Cardiff getting into the premiership.

Be interesting to see who we bring in, because I reckon some of our best players will be off in the summer, leaving us much weaker.
Hope the board dont just sit back and think 'Rangers are not in the league, we don't need to spend much', but I think they probably will.

Although, if they unearth some gems like Wanyama etc, then I would not mind at all if they did not spend much.

I really don't want Joe to leave.

However, we did get him for nothing, and if a club comes in with £5m for him, I think we'd probably take it. After all, its widely known that the club's signing policy nowadays is to find bargain deals and then sell them on for a profit a few years down the line. Ledley has most definitely been a bargain buy.

If he does go back down south, I hope it is back to Cardiff and he can show the world what he can do in the Premiership. I have no doubts that he is good enough to make it in England's top flight and the so called 'best league in the world'.

 

Can't see us getting anywhere near 8 million for Joe he only has a year left on his contract.
