why did Lennon, need to say anything to the papers at all, "embarrassed", funny he never felt the same way, when he got sent of, leaving us with 10 men in games. never heard apologies, or * all to the fans or by the board, then.

.....i remember the last day of last season........an emotional rollercoaster when Neil put his life on the line as well as his credentials. We stood by the man and he went straight to the most vocal section of our support to thank them.

Since then, results have not gone well......there was a torrent of abuse on forums, telephone call ins and even at the games. We stood by Neil.

Now he stabs his friends in the back.

He said they have let 99.9% of the support down so he was not having a go at everyone that supported him last year.
Unless you think there actoins speak for us all.

He mocked the fans who supported him most. He knew those who had stood by him and he made a statement by going straight to them that day.

He can leave anytime he likes now. He is finished as Celtic manager.

crap banner he shouldnt have bothered just as lawell didnt bother to say * uefa when the celtic fans were accused and fined for singing a political song while poppies on football shirts (rememberance for the worst terrorist army)are everywhere .if uefa were serious about eradicating all politics from the sport fine, but its clear they are not

Lawell and baniker are the embaressment to the club ,they allowed the good name of celtic to be dragged through the mud by not standing up to uefa and telling them that the celtic fans were not guilty of what they were accused, and at the very least appealed .Imagine if thoes pathetic * had been in charge in the fifties the tricolour would have been down in an instant
just have to quote the new chairman "My message would be that you are not doing the club any good, ......... You are not wanted" right back at ya

as for lennon ,he must have been thrilled with the fact he had something to overshadow the fact the team flopped out of europe AGAIN!!!! ,insulting the people who pay your wages, no matter how idiotic they are will only bring trouble on yourself , can of kestrel anyone..

Really, so who would you replace him with?

Celtic winning the league is more important than Lennon being popular, he's doing fine as our manager

I think it was once with Celtic. Doesnt quite fit in with the angry snarling image of him does it? The image that the press like to portray.

To suggest he is finished as a manager is a naive and dramatic over reaction. The straw poll on here suggests that most people agree with him.
