Barca don't need to dive. The huns try and boot us off the park and we don't dive as a result. We win staying on our feet

Barca could easily win without diving with the quality they have

Barcelona lucky again, should have gone through easily this game, just a lapse in concentration towards the end of the first half cost them.

Depends what you mean by "diving".

If you mean simulating a foul when no-one's touched you then I agree totally. But in the great majority of cases tonight, what we've seen from Busquets, Fabregas etc has just been making the most of an actual foul committed against them. That's a completely different thing, and when a team is trying to kick you off the park I see it as justifiable. Don't approve of it, but it's a completely differrent kettle of fish from pure simulation.

Might as well make the most of being assaulted. If the refs done their job they wouldn't have to make the most of it.

    I agree with that

It does my head in when a player barely gets touched and is on the floor rolling about holding his face :31:

When guys like Pepe are flying into tackles then making the most of it is understandable, I mean your safety is danger when he's on the pitch. If the ref does his job right then thugs like Pepe are unlikely to stay on for long

Only managed to see the second half, and Barca were quite poor. Still, they managed to hold on and go through. I think Barca should have had a penalty at 2-2, and I think that Ramos shouldn't have been sent off. Although, it can't be easy for the referee with some players constantly rolling around the floor and diving (both teams, not just Barcelona). Also, Pepe is such a *, don't like him. Such a dirty player

I am a Celtic supporter. A neutral on 100% of games across the world. I prefer Barca at this moment in time purely because I love to watch them.

Anyone that cannot see that Barca become a different team when they play Madrid need either their heads or their eyes tested. Watch Barcelona next week and see if you see the diving and play acting. You won't, because it isn't their style.

Real eight yellow cards and one red. Barca two yellows.

That tells you the story of the game right there.

There were just two examples tonight of a player going down holding his face when he hadn't been contacted anywhere near the face - both were Pepe.
