Unfortunately it was July, but hopefully we can kick on from here. Couple of good results which we need to build on:celt_2:

we won today...but Neils claims that we were fantastic are wide of the mark.....we were average. We got lucky with a sending off that probably wasnt deserved.......but we did score two fantastic goals. until we have our strongest settled side in place we have oh so very much to fear.

Injuries have absolutely raped our campaign......its hard to find positives. But a possible five points clawed back in a week is a * fantastic start.

Terrible first half performance today and we were always going to break down the bottom team with a man down. Tricky ground all the same and with players to return such as Brown and Izaguirre, we should close the gap.

Depends what happens during the January Window as well. If we keep playing Majstorovic, we won't be Champions.

That's why I think if we win our next 6 games (4 at home 2 away) up til the new year we will win the league.the gap would at the most be 4pts then we would have izzy, brown and hopefully a new centre back

We won't win our next 6 matches though going on today's evidence. I really don't like the Hooper AND Stokes formation. Should be one or the other (against 11 men).

This isn't the start of our season. The morning after an old firm victory on the 29th will be the start of our season.

I think hooper needs to get a few more goals before we see the real him, apart from the link up in the first goal today he still doesn't look 100% confident in himself, hopefully against dunfermline and st.mirren he can bag a goal or two to really get on a consistent run of form.

Looking at the fixtures before the huns:
Dunfermline - should be comfortable at CP
St.Mirren - same as above at CP
Dundee UTD - could be tricky at tannadice but utd aren't doing so well this season
Hearts - away from home difficult but at CP we usually beat the mini huns.
St.Johnstone -away from home tricky away venue but new manager for them should wear off and a win should be achievable
Kilmarnock - again at CP both teams play attacking football, hopefully this time we are awake in the first half, on form we should beat killie.

There are two tricky ties in the next half a dozen games but they are all definitely winnable and would set us up nicely going into the old firm game.

Nah my season started in July, because I never gave up on Celtic delivering the form of last season. I also retained my faith, unwaveringly, in support of our manager, Neil Lennon. Let's all do the huddle anyway :veryhappy:

Start of the season we won 3 on the trot, then didn't until today. We deserve some credit for this and should take some confidence from it. If we can play a settled team for the next month in the run up to the huns, we will create a strong team, hopefully coming to their peak who can beat them and kick on from the OF game... Lenny is always speaking about consistancy. I would call on him to stick with the same spine of the team until the huns game, obviously taking into consideration injuries and the expected mid season suspensions. Things do seem a wee bit better today than 2 weeks ago. HH

Capping myself about the upcoming old firm game. I'm confident we can win though. We need to keep winning the matches in the meantime however.

I have no doubt we'll win our next OF match and it'll be like the 3-0 victory last season, which I predicted as well. You can quote me on this come December 29th! :56:

I have always said Lenny was a lucky manager, not a great because he is still learning, but today proved he is starting to get a grip with tactics, and I think he knows what his best team is, but has been hampered by injuries.

We are still in four competitions, and the gap is narrowing with the Huns. We will soon know how lucky Lenny is.
