    Celtic midfielder Ki Sung Yeung has been stricken with a mystery illness - and is awaiting the outcome of brain scans aimed at finding out what has made him sick and dizzy for days.
    The Hoops star reported for international duty with South Korea despite having missed Celtic's last two games through illness.
    On arriving in Seoul, however, his conditioned had worsened to such a degree that he headed straight for the hospital.

    Ki told reporters in his homeland that he travelled thinking he would feel better in a day or two, but said: 'I was then feeling really sick and dizzy, so I had to get attention. Hopefully I'll know more by tomorrow.'
    Several sources in Korea reported that, in addition to having blood taken to test for a stomach infection, Ki also underwent a brain scan as a precaution.
    A representative of the player said: 'We can't say what kind of tests he's had, just that he couldn't stop vomiting and was feeling dizzy. We'll have some results by tomorrow.'

    South Korea are due to play the United Arab Emirates in a World Cup qualifier in the Gulf on Friday but it is uncertain if Ki will be fit enough to travel with the squad.
    Celtic will be looking for the South Korean FA to act on the cautious side with their player, whose loss for any length of time would be another hammer blow to a squad already decimated by injury.
    The 22-year-old has become an integral part of Neil Lennon's midfield and has attracted Premiership attention with his displays.

    Hate these mystery illness's, seen way to many of these things become quite serious.

    Hopefully its just a combination of fatigue, long haul flights, change in diet's and drastic change in weather (I gather its suddenly got very cold in Glasgow recently)
