Thought it was great to see him back in the side today, it's clear he still needs to get his match sharpness up a bit but I thought he showed little glimpses today that he's getting closer, he seems to be getting back into goalscoring positions and I just thought it was terrific to see him back today

 

Think he still looks overweight and suspect. Needs more game time and some more time on the tread mill...

Like you say though, he needs games.

 

I think more weight needs to be lost. He's still not looking the same player he did last season. I don't expect him to just come back into the side and start scoring some of the screamers he did before, but even his passing and movement seems to be off.

 

He still looks overweight but def not as bad as what he was at the start of the season, a few more games away from being 100% but def signs are there that it won't be long.

 

Yeah hes the kinda player who needs to play himself back into form, he'll improve with more game time.

Was fuming at him for not hitting that chance with his right peg. Lucky Paddy, Stokes and Hooper bailed him out.

Needs minutes on the pitch. Hooper has benefited from a couple of sub appearances. I'd do the same with Commons. Give him 20-30 mins of intensity to ease him back in.

 

Needs game time.

 

I think a good run of games will get him back to his best. Have seen moments from him in the last couple of games that he is slowly returning to form

 

think his final ball was poor at times today, he needs game time. its just lucky for him that so many midfielders are injured atm so he will play. needs to get on the treadmill and get more mobile, looked sluggish and lathargic at times today.. but as said, needs time, still a quality player regardless

We were warned about his inconsistency by Derby fans.

I'm afraid that's what we're seeing now, hopefully he'll improve with a run of games.
