Was at the game and afterwards went to the Cottage Bar in Bridgeton (dont ask me why) and got a lock-in as they were showing the full game on STV at 10-30pm (the pubs shut at 11 in these days) and afterwards walked home through that shitehole to the Southside..............the * stupid things you do when your young.

For anyone who did'nt know we got humped 0-3 in the 2nd leg. :38:

I was born in 1990 so 10 years before my time but I loved watching that last night. Back when we were a real threat in Europe. Can Lennon not emulate that type of football from our current squad? Scary to think what the real Madrid of today would do to Celtic.

Yes after they had made it 2-2 on aggregate we should have had a penalty for blatant handball.

Oh, if only MccLuskey I think it was had given us the lead in the first 5 minutes when he missed a sitter they'd have had to score 4. I honestly believed at the time get past Madrid and we'd go all the way and win the big one again!

We didn't have a team of superstars then but in mindset they were very similar to the Lisbon Lions with the likes of McGrain, Doyle, Latchford, Provan, Aitken, MacLeod all who would bust a gut to play for the jersey.

Must have been absolutely devastating losing 3-0 away, especially after being 2-0 up in the first legs, spirits would have been high.

McCluskey had a goal chopped off in the first leg too, and missed a sitter.
