This guy blows hot and cold far too often. I personally thought he played well tonight, but as already mentioned by someone, you're always * yourself when the ball comes to him, just waiting for him to * it up and gift the opposition a goal.

He's still better than Majstorovic though, in every aspect of the game. Charlie Mulgrew is by far and away the best centre back at the club right now.

Better than Majstorovic and wouldn't mind him playing alongside Chuck on Sunday, against Aberdeen. However, I prefer Rogne over both Dan and Glenda.

Far to often is our defence changing!! For me they are all playen pretty poor but its not helping changing them round all thr time. How can we have a srttled defence if we cant have a settled defence. For me lenny has to stick with a pairing and persivere at mo. Under normal conditions ad drop 1 if playen bad but to many are off boil. So, stick with a pairing. Id go for mulgrew n maj. Game in, game out! It just cant get any worse tho! As for glenda. The big is built like a brick * house, but is not a warrior. This y he gets called a wumins name !!!!

Always said I would start him over Maj. Much better player. Pathetic its taken this long for Lennon to see it.

got to laugh at the comments about he played well but only that error at end,if that was an old firm cup final and he done it he would be crucified.this just sums him up playing not bad then pressing the red button.its an absoloute disgrace a club our size and we dont honestly have a good centre half

I still say Glenn is the best centre back we have got as Mulgrew is still a work in progress. I don't rate any of the others including Kelvin Wilson.

I also think the title of the thread is not helpful to the player or our perception of Loovens.

Credit where it is due he played well last night and deserves to start again alongside Mulgrew on Sunday against Aberdeen.

Been here too many times before! He puts in a couple of good performances and then stinks the place out for the next dozen games!

Best we have to partner Mulgrew in Europe (unfortunately) with Rogne not being registered but would much prefer the young lad along side Charlie in domestic football.

He’s the Samaras of the back line.

He can have some good games, but more often than not he is utterly hopeless.

Although, so far this season I think he’s been ok.

I was just thinking to myself, he was very close to making it 3-1 to us (against the Huns) when he had a header that came off the inside of the post. Had that gone in, I think the whole league picture would be looking totally different right now.

And Loovens might well have been regarded as a bit of a hero; just shows sometimes how fine the line is with football.
