    Here's hoping this is what he needs to get him back to top form - some players are all about confidence and feeling wanted, respected, loved, etc, etc.

    If Kayal thought he was good enough to be on a par with some others in the squad then hopefully this puts his mind at ease and allows him to concentrate on the football.

    If not, here's hoping we've put an almighty buy out clause in there :icon_mrgreen:

    Seriously though, here's hoping this is really positive for Beram, which will only benefit all concerned with Celtic!

    you only have to cast your minds back to the summer and him and izaguire were both looking to jump ship

    what happened ? emilio got a contract extension with better pay

    why has it took so long for kayal to get his pay upped

    as others have said hopefully now he gets his finger out of his * and starts playing

    but tbh the wages we are looking to pay players now, if we get a good young un they ain't gonna be at celtic park very long

    ohh ffs come of it

    a player after getting a pay rise says he wants to stay at celtic

    and you honestly believe that if a premiership club came sniffing he wouldn't be off

    i think your being a tad naive there :97:

    but it's good business to keep your players happy but we've been dragging our heels with this one till it looked like he was trying to get himself sent off against killie in my opinion

    How so?

    He can't get his move at the moment, so saying all the right things and getting a pay-rise until January is the best he can do for himself at the moment. Just a thought, not saying it's fact.

    I guess we'll see how committed he is when the big clubs are interested.

    I don't know where all this negativity about his recent play is coming from,I was at the game against Dunfermline a few weeks ago and if was by far the best player on the park .great news if signed a new contract in my opinion

    It means he'll at least stay until the summer. This will give him a morale boost and hopefully get him playing again. People on this should be happy he's got an extension!
