I am agree with you but it is just that I think some players are in a better form than others so, I put that on this topic :86:

Agree with your statement there but that seems to be where our problem is at times. Lenny seems to chop and change , dropping players who are on form to bring in players that have been off form but playing them on the chance they may give him one good game or on past reputation. Our best 11 is our most consistant 11, granted we have had our run of injuries that hasnt allowed us to do that at times. But if we have a settled core of the team then players should be able to fit into the system regardless who they are.

    Broony!
Can't believe so many people are putting Ki in after his display on Saturday - absolutely effortless and no fight in him whatsoever - and this is what we're crying out for right now!!!

    Team, for now anyway, has to be;

    Forster
    M Wilson / Matthews - Rogne - Mulgrew - El Kadourri
    Cha - Forrest - Wanyama - Ledley
Stokes - Hooper (or McFadden if signed)

And yes, I know about McFadden but Hooper is shadow of his last season self and Bangura can't even control a ball...and whilst this actually may be the time to play Sammy, after his recent scoring escapades for Greece, I just can't put him in my team!

Also really disappointed with some of our MFs - both in terms of drop in form and attitude. Commons & Kayal in particular - both of whom seem to be pressing the self destruct button!

And as noted recently enough, McCourt (as much I like the guy) doesn't deliver anywhere near often enough!

So here we have 3 players we are crying out for but who, IMO, we can't count on right now - unless they sort themselves out NOW!!!

We really need Brown, Izzy & K Wilson fit again!

    When we have these guys fit again, we are looking at;

    Forster
    Cha - K Wilson - Mulgrew - Izzy
    Brown - Forrest - Wanyama - Ledley
    Stokes - ANother

Even with these 3 players back, the team still needs the major investment it's been crying out for, for some time!

We need the quality we were promised and which PL and the penny pinchers failed to deliver on...

So even if we do bring in Faddy now, we still NEED to sign a target man and a beast of a CB who defends first and foremost.

I'd also love a better GK too (as FF is nowhere near the class of GK we've been used to) but if we can get K Wilson fit again and sign ANother and add the scoring target man we need that will be a good window.

And if we need to do it, then finance it by punting Ki - keep the PR machine going (a la Jim McLean with Funcan Ferguson all those years ago) and get £8m+...

Then bring in the 2 x £4m players we need!!!

Until then though, I just can't wait for Broony to get fit again, as he will make such a difference when he returns!!!

    Hail Hail

No player is bigger than our club so if Kayals toys are out the pram get him out the team.

Majstorovic must not, i repeat not, start a game for us ever again and should be kicked out the door in january, ive had enough of this imposter, i will never in my life understand how this guy can be an international defender playing against top class strikers all over the world yet he cant defend for * in the SPL...i really am racking my brains to think of a worse defender than him...

I think that if Commons gets fit, then he is a must. I don't think he has lacked effort this season, just fitness, and we will desperately need his goals from midfield. Though Lennon will not be playing him, so we miss out on 20+ goals a season. The most important change that has to be made, in my opinion, is Forster out, Zaluska in. I think that things started going wrong when Forster came in - no losses, one Euro draw with Zaluska and a different defence each game, 2 goals conceded in 4 matches. Since Forster started, its been 6 losses and a draw out of 11 games, 15 goals conceded. I think that part of the defensive crisis has arisen because Forster is the weak link; there seems to be no communication from him, and it looks to me like the defenders don't trust him. Mark Wilson stated publically that they were perplexed that he was allowed to just waltz into the side when Zaluska had not only done nothing wrong, but was percieved by the squad to be excelling. Lennon won't drop one of his favourites though (well, not again. Thought Zaluska did very well against Udinese).

Brown usually gets a torried time but he is one player that fights for 90 minutes and gives his all

Don't know why you would put Forrest in CM, unless you mean as the AM in a 4-1-2-1-2.

With Broony and Izzy fit, I think we are looking at:

    Forster
    Matthews K.Wilson Mulgrew Izzy
    Forrest Brown Wanyama Ledley
    Stokes Hoops/McFadden

    * knows! Lenny doesn't know and he trains them everyday what chance have we of picking a team, all I know is Ki and Kayal can get ta * and Hooper should be benched.

only people who i would say defo in the team when fit are

Broony, Stokes, Forrest, Ledley and big Wilson the rest have a lot to prove.

I know things can change but I've seen every game and was just wondering if most people were on the same wave length. I chose to drop Kayal and Hooper due to attitude or serious lack of form. I would also use Ki sparingly as he can be amazing when its purely football but in a physical game he disappears so would start with Wanyama. Ledley is a first team regular IMO who should always play when fit and at LCM. I would go for a team that give 100% everytime because the main thing missing from some of our star men has been effort.

I just hope we can get the the old firm match at christmas no more than 6pts of the Huns. If we can do that we would still be in with a great chance of title (Although 3pts would be a must that day). Get everyone fit and sign a centre back in jan window and team could be

    Forster
    M.wilson RB
    Izzy LB
    Mulgrew CB
    New Signing or Maj CB

    S.Brown RM
    Commons LM
    Kayal CM
    Ki CM

    Hooper CF
    Stokes CF

Now that team is more than capable of winning the league, Lenny has to stop chopping and changing the team every week

I dont know about the rest of the season but for the next game away to rennes i would play:

    Forster

    Cha Loovens Mulgrew Matthews

    ...............Wanyama.........
    ..............Ki............Ledley......
    Forrest.....................Samaras
    .....................Stokes
    ...................................................

Hooper, Maj and Kayal should be dropped for poor form. This formation could change from 4-5-1, to 4-3-3, to 4-4-2 depending on how the match is going. I think that Sammy and Stokes should get a chance together. I might be wrong but i dont really remember them playing much together

Can I ask have you even been watching our games mate , why on earth would you leave Ledley out of a team where he is one of the only ones who cares and fights for the team and you would play ki and kayal regardless then?????

Yeah, seen evey game, I thought about ledley but i feel Ki has more in him going forward and Kayal can take care of the defensive side of things in the midfield area. I rate Ledley but i would have Ki and Kayal in my side before him
