I hate the idea that the "Greatest Fans In The World" tag is believed by some Celtic supporters as one that we put on ourselves. We are often congratulated by prominent sporting figures and people that have visited Celtic Park from all around the world on our support and have even won awards from both FIFA and UEFA.

Our fans are the 12th man and I'd like to think that we as supporters have been responsible for inspiring many Celtic fightbacks on the pitch over the years.

I was shouting things like that at the game - it's called anger. It hurts to see your club being torn apart in such a manner, things get said, the anger takes over in that situation - it's called emotion. I couldn't help it or stop myself but I've to * off cos I care? Nah mate, disagree entirely.

Just finished watching the match. Practically 2 days later, going on 3am Monday morning here in New York. Busy weekend, preparing for a busy week, and though I'll regret it tomorrow morning, have to get the Hoops in.

My spirit crushed at 0-3, watching and wondering what's happened to us, how we got here, will the rest of the season be bearable at all? All the while, even at 0-1, 0-2, but especially at 0-3 and the second half, I'm enjoying singing along in my head with the crowd more than anything on the park.. lying in bed with my headphones on.. middle of the night. I'm reminded that regardless of what goes on on the park, Celtic as a club will always lift my heart. The second half wears on, the singing gets even better, I enjoy it even more, and sure enough we score 3 goals.

The financial obstacles, the SPL in general, bad results, all the negatives working against us and those of our own making... in spite of it all, our supporters are as passionate as ever. Thanks for that. It's inspiring because it says that no matter what, though we can't control 99% of what goes on, we never lose touch with the spirit that makes Celtic special. That's something that will never die, and that's something no Sky TV deal, no sugar daddy billionaire, no heartless players, or no corrupt official can ever take away from us. :ynwacelti:
