I think it would be funny if they eventually got a GB team, installed Smith as manager and he gets them playing 5-4-1 :56:

That article's a load of nonsense as for starters he never retired anyway, he just decided that his time at the huns was up. He's stated time and time again that he wasn't moving into retirement just yet.

It's a joke, man. PR crew are desperate to introduce some non-English element, however tenuous. Probably have a Welsh bloke as the team jannie. Team GB my *.

Personally I'm halfway between your couldn't give a *, and hoping they get gubbed every * game. Probably leaning towards the latter... :56:

That's to attacking for him. Would be more 9-1-0.

It'll probable be the England B team. But if it were a conglomerate of all the best available talent, who would make it? I assume some choices may look dodgy, but you need some representation across the board

    Hart

    Cole Jones Ferdinand Sturridge

    Young Gerrard Fletcher Bellamy

    Rooney Bent

    Bench
    McGregor
    Davis
    Zamorra
    Brown
    Ramsey

    Would probably be

    Hart
    Johnson Ferdinand Terry Cole
    Fletcher Wilshere
    Young Gerrard Bellamy
    Rooney

Dont think Davis and Brown wouldnt get near it, not with Ramsey, Wilshere, Gerrard, Fletcher, Lampard, Barton, Nolan, Parker, Carrick etc

If they were to pick the best team but I think its an under 23 tournament so probably only Forrest from Scotland would make it nobody from NIreland and Wales would have 3/4 players maybe Matthews.

    Amos
    Kelly Jones Smalling Walker
    Forrest Henderson Rodwell McEachran Albrighton
    Chamberlain

If they dont pick Ramsey, Wilshere, Bale and Carroll who already play in the full teams.
