    was petrov but now McManus
    he'll be 37 , we as a team need to improve and i don't see giving a worn out player another contract a sign of improvement, more of a sign of sentiment than anything else

    I think we do not need to look for a replacement as Sno has done very well indeed for his age and I think he is ready to step up next year. Not many 19 year old have all that CL experience. Hartley can play the sitting role too if Sno is injured and when he is fit, Charlie Grant is a great young player in that role. I would save the money for one midfield general who can create and defend. His form has slipped but I would still consider Brown as an option. I think WGS could coach him into some player. I would only buy further central midfielders if we sell Grav, JJ or both.

    Yeah i'd go with that. He made everyone of his critics eat their words from start of the season right up until a month or so ago. He's been up and down since then, but your goanny get that with a guy of his age and build. That's why even tho can can still do a job for us next year, it won't be as a first team, more as back up. He'll still be there tho, and deservedly so.

    C'mon people all good things come to an end sadly its Lennys time been a great servant but we as a club need to move with the times,in europe we must have a midfeilder who as well as defend can and will go forward,before people start saying who and where do we find such a player i say we have in the past and will again the m o'n era is over.

    clear out the old dead wood lennon+telfer for a start we got rid of john hartson who in my opinion could have ran ac milan ragged with his power and we kept old 5 bellies neil lennon what he has done for us in the past is great but why keep a cooked goose.

    CELTIC HAVE PAID A £6,OOO,OOO TRANSFER FEE PLUS £30,OOO A WEEK FOR 2 GOAL LENNON

    THIS IS ABOUT £8,000.000 A GOAL :87::87:

    AND WE WORRY ABOUT MILLERS PRODUCTIVITY A MAN WHO WORKS HIS SOCKS OFF AND SCORED IMPORTANT GOALS

    LENNON IS AN EMBARASSMENT BOTH ON AND OFF THE PITCH

    TIME FOR HIM TO GO AND BE REPLACED BY JARI OR T.G

    IF THE THE MIDFIELD CAN'T SUPPLY QUALITY BALLS THE STRIKERS CANT SCORE

    LETS KEEP THE GAME SIMPLE FROM BACK TO FRONT FIRST TIME FOOTBALL

    NO STOPPING IN MIDFIELD FOR LENNIE TO HAVE HIS CUP OF TEA :87::87:

    It really is pathetic sometimes malone, i will laugh so hard at these idiots if Lennon gets another year. It's as if the man's presence in the team offends people, how's that for gratitude after him putting in some top class performances year after year, being one of the most loyal, committed and passionate players ever to have worn the Hoops and captaining us to the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time in our histoy?

    Ignorant *, im praying he gets it right up yous for another year!!! :shamrock:

    I would love to see him in a coaching role, i know hes working on coaching badges already and he has a great relationship with GS.

    Well I for one would support your feelings except there are Tic fans like me that appreciate the player as a man, but fitba wise I dont want him playing for Celtic next season just the same as there are others I dont want playing, however if it was a choice of only keeping one between Balde and Lennon, I would keep Lennon! :56: :84:

    well said again stonewall :50: can't wait for him to go, we need more creativity in the side to help us score goals and lennon does not provide that. in the spl, we do not need a player of this type. and in europe he is too busy chasing shadows to do anything for us.
