The mystery is that you dont get many chances playing for Scotland and he is far better at taking what few chances come his way in those games. If he had the same chance-goal ratio for Celtic he would have at least 25 by now. I think part of the problem is he cant take the pressure at Celtic and his nerve has totally gone. I dont think he is as poor as he has looked this season but I now think he will struggle to recover his nerve so he is screwed. With Scotland we dont expect too much and are grateful for anything good and but at Celtic you must score 20+ and score every couple of clear-cut chances.

yeah mate, I thought the same. Actually that was one of the best first halves this season in my opinion. could have scored easily 3/4 goals.

There is no mystery. He's pish. This golden run for Scotland you describe was no more than 3 or 4 games where he played out of his skin. It won't happen again. It's not simply down to confidence, it's also down to ability. He's sadly lacking in that department.

if he can't take the pressure here, he should keep his mouth shut and go and find a club where he can. i suggest doncaster :)

You may be right. Certainly if you are limited ability and then your confidence collapses then you do get into the chocolate teapot category. I think a chunk of my blind faith bit the dust today. He finally screwed up bad in a big game, playing well in which was one of the main counterarguemets for him. I actually think WGS will give him a couple more games with JVOH out of curiosity (It was his original planned pairing and they barely got to play together) and then he will put Deeks up front with JVOH-a combination I would like to see. Gone off Beattie.

he should have saved the shot for the goal, and was a bit dodgy at another shot where he gathered it at the second attempt. i can not really criticise him too much as he is the best keeper we have had for a while.

Yeah he had a bad game, might have prevented the goal if he had used his left hand and than he mucked up a freekick and almost pushed it into the path of Fergushun.

Sno was absolutely terrible. Awkward backpasses, bad positioning, losing possession. Biggest reason we lost today. How Strachan missed it is beyond me

No, the biggest reason why we lost today is that we played like a complete bunch of strangers in the second half, oh and because Miller is *.

14 (10) probably be more if he wasn't so injury prone, he's a great striker thats always paired with a * of a player.
