How are we going to win the league?

I can't see them dropping points. If they're having a tough time of it they'll get a dodgy penalty, and the opposition are denied a stone-waller most games. The SPL teams are so bad that even without bias they'd struggle to take points off them. If we played in a league that contained teams that weren't just utterly *, like Malmo and Maribor, we might have a chance, because although they know how to scrape wins against * teams, when they face any sort of quality they crumble.

The only way is to take points off them ourselves, but even given how * they are, you can't predict Old Firm games. Especially when Lenny plays that imposter of a * Samaras. I wouldn't be confident if we had to depend on head to heads to win the title.

My prediction is that the huns will drop about 4 points against teams that aren't us from now until th end of the season.

 

By gaining more points than the other 11 teams in the league.

It's only October ffs we have 2 games in hand. They will drop points as so will we. Some people seem to be writing the league of in October.

 

Plenty of time to go but I must admit I'm just not confident this will be our year...

I can't believe the amount of people panicking when we're barely into October. Anyone in here still remember the 2008/09 season? We beat those * 1-0 at Ibrox thanks to Skippy and went seven points clear at the top of the league. This was in December. They still managed to turn it around and they had less time than us.

 

I think we'll have it won by March or April tbh

The only thing that concerns me is our defence and GK, they are better than us in that department.

I can kinda see where u r coming from about not seeing them dropping points against the other muck in the league coz is it just me or does anyone else feel other teams play oot their skin against us but when they play the huns they just fold they r beat before game has even started. I also feel the huns are just so lucky all the time & im not talking about refereeing decisions just things like the cup final when jellyfish scored & it hit post then ran along the line hit other post then went in I can guarentee it if that was celtic it would have rolled out the way just things like that.

But at the same time they r due a * hammering of a team they have been awful apart from the old firm second half & dunfermline & feel they will drop a few points & all pressure will turn to fat sally.

To be fair rangers has a perfectly good goal disallowed today. No point in moaning about penalties going their way, etc.

I think Rangers have had for several years the ability to play bad and win. This is something we have never had since Strachen. Rangers are grinders and even when they play poorly they rarely lose silly goals and can get a goal from somewhere. Celtic on the other hand are capable of turning on the flair but we are also capable of not turning up at all and dropping so many silly points.

I am a betting man and leaving my love for celtic aside, I would bet on rangers winning the league again this year simply because they dont give any cheap goals like we do. It will be close as always but last year we blew it because we bottled the penalty against them and bottled it against ICT. I have seen nothing this season to suggest we are any more composed now than we were then.

 

They weren't even good v Dunfermline, just Dunfermline are ridiculously bad

Jeez oh - big wow they are 10 points ahead having played 2 more games than us! They will have their bad days; we've had ours already - On saturday lunchtime itll be back to 4 points again
