no beattie seems to still be improving i think he will be a good player for us however i would get rid of possibly gravesen, balde and miller

 

maybe balde and miller but i think gravesen will change ur mind by the end of the season hes just been off form the last few months. he ran over the dunfermlin midfeild last weekend and he gave it his all in milan i hope he can turn his celtic carrer around.

HOWEVER

I've heard from a VERY VERY VERY good source that Gus McPherson is phonin Lennon regularly about goin to St Mirren. He's not gonna bother goin to America though, as he doesn't want to be that far away from his daughter down south. So, it looks like a player-coach role with St Mirren or squad player for one last year with the Hoops.

Thats a very optomistic view of our team however I find our strikers very lacking and theres no point to keep them. Plus Gravensen is not getting first team football.

jarosik had a great game against Milan. If he can play like that every week then no was should we sell him. So did Tommy G

 

Many of the players being mentioned have little or no sell-on value because of their age or remaining contract.

Telfer has already said he is leaving when his contract expires because his family is still down south.

Lennon is out of contract, and will probably leave unless he agrees to another hefty wage cut.

Balde is unlikely to want to leave since he still has a lucrative contract which no other club is likely to match.

I would try to sell Zurawski and Miller and re-invest whatever money that would generate in a proven goalscorer.

The situation with Gravesen must also be sorted out. If WGS doesn't think he's up to the job of starting every week, then he must be sold. Celtic can't afford to have top earners sitting on the bench. Hartley looks like a ready made replacement anyway.

It all depends on who comes through the door in the summer anyway, if better players are found then others could also be allowed to leave. The likes of Jarosik, Riordan and Beattie have not cemented their first team places and could be vulnerable.
