Zurawaski has never set the heather on fire with us

He is a fancy tap dancer player, who does not fit in with the hurly
    burly of Scottish football

I would sell him, and buy someone like John O' Shea

His problems started before the World Cup i think. He was a star in the Polish Ekstraklasa before he arrived to Parkhead. When he gave us World Cup he became even a superstar plus he had quite good season in Scotland.
The guy simply thought he's too good, became lazy and * up his career. Fortunately Polish NT have some better strikers than him recently and I think Celtic should sell him and buy someone who would fit to Jvoh...

PS. It's not true he wanted to go to Fiorentina and Besiktas before he came to Celtic. He had to choose between Celtic and Trabzonspor. Firstly he wanted to go to Trabzonspor because he's best friend was playing there but after all he decided for Celtic...

Hi is 29, hardly too old. I think with a good summer break we will see Zurawski back to his best consistently next season.

    he's back and i'm glad

MACIEJ ZURAWSKI is ready to return to action - and his timing could not be any better.
Celtic's joint-top scorer last season has not played since injuring a calf muscle against St Mirren seven weeks ago.
With the SPL champions-elect misfiring in their last two games - blanks in Milan and Sunday's Old Firm defeat - the lack of firepower has been an understandable concern for manager Gordon Strachan.
Kenny Miller has been cast as the villain-in-chief after failing to hit the target at the weekend, just 24 hours after going into print demanding to be played or he would be setting his sights on a move in the summer.

However, the Bosman signing from Wolves - who has scored only eight goals - is certainly not alone in coming up short this season.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is top of the hitman parade with 13 and Zurawski is next with 10.
That is only one ahead of Shunsuke Nakamura, who has made a decent contribution for a midfield player.
No one looks like threatening the 20-goal mark which Zurawski and John Hartson both achieved last year, a figure considered the very minimum for a Celtic striker in the halcyon days of Larsson, Sutton and Big Bad John.
This poor return is reflected in the SPL table where, although 16 points clear of the chasing pack, the goals-for column makes disappointing reading.
In 30 games, Celtic have hit the net just 57 times. That's only eight more than Rangers, and more than 20 behind the figure for this stage last season, which itself was hardly a free-scoring campaign.
Strachan could easily deflect criticism by referring you to the points column and the lead they enjoy. But he is as frustrated as anyone by the lack of goals, and not just because they have gone successive games without scoring for only the second time in his 20-month tenure.
He said: "The last two games sum up our season. We've done well up to a certain area in the pitch. That is something we have to sort out.
"Hopefully the lack of goals won't cost us this season, but it might in the future. So we know we must get that sorted out."
Strachan appreciates goal-scorers are the most sought-after men in the business, with price tags to match. So the option of simply going out and securing a 20 goals-per-season striker is not a basket into which he is planning to place all his eggs.
Rather, he is calling upon the frontmen he already has at his disposal to deliver. As he puts it, you can only be called a goal- scorer if you score. Otherwise you're just a forward.
That is why the imminent return of Pole Zurawski puts something like a trace of a smile back on the boss's face.
Reports that Zurawski is going back to his homeland for treatment have been dismissed as nonsense by Strachan, who explained: "He is fine, and will be training on Thursday. Sunday's game at Falkirk might be a little too early for him, but we'll see."
This week could have seen the league flag brought back home. But that celebration has now been delayed, possibly until April 7, as a consequence of losing to Rangers.
Strachan has no problems adjusting to the revised time-frame for one simple reason: "I never put myself in the position of thinking it would only need one more game. I've always dealt with reality. I did not have a philosophy on what was going to happen or might happen. I only react to what has happened."
So the players must join the manager in finding the energy reserves to see the job through.
Fatigue after two hours' intense action in Milan, culminating in deep disappointment, has been forwarded as one reason they appeared to be running on empty in the second half against Rangers.
Strachan does not consider this an accurate summation.
He said: "If you actually look at the number of times we got down the pitch and put the ball into their box, even after they scored, it was clear our players still had enough energy.
"You must also remember that, near the end, we only had one centre back, because we had pushed Stephen McManus up into attack chasing the equaliser. That's when players might have looked tired, as they tried to get back when Rangers counter-attacked. But we had to go for it."
Strachan is convinced that, had his players taken even one of their chances in the first half, when they were on top, the door would have been slammed tight on any Rangers revival.
"I think that would have been the end of it," he said. "In saying that, it might be disrespectful to Rangers. But I do think that would have been it."
As history will show, it was not to be and Celtic suffered their first home defeat since November 2005, and their first SPL defeat since August 6 at Tynecastle.
Rangers, by contrast, have been given a huge fillip, one they can now carry forward to the final Old Firm game.
Student of the psychology of the game though he is, Strachan is not prepared to project that far ahead. His priorities are more immediate.
"I'm just looking at getting as many wins as we can as quickly as possible," he said in a tone which underlined his intent.
Rest may be as important as regrouping this week, as will recovery for the walking wounded such as Steven Pressley, who was forced off on Sunday after sustaining a head gash.
"I don't know if the stitches will be a problem for Steven," said the manager.
"He seems to play regularly with a bandage around his head.
"Thomas Gravesen is someone else we will have to look at because he has an ankle injury after taking studs on it in Milan. That was a sore one. Hopefully there is no ligament damage."
Both Pressley and Gravesen have shown they know the route to goal, as has Paul Hartley, who is available again after his two-game suspension.
If they, or anyone else, can give the strikers a helping hand this weekend, contributions would be gratefully received.

I very much doubt Zurawski is the answer, but im also glad he's pick in the hunt, the more options we've got just now the better. If he can come in and give us a few goals and add a bit of confidence to our front line i'll be happy, maybe i'd even think about keeping him as back up for next season.

To be honest tho, there's no way he is of the standard we need, and if it were down to me i'd still give Riordan a chance before putting Zurawski back in.

    Zurawaski is a Dud
He fires blanks too like Kenny " Misser " Miller

It must be Big Jan and Derek Riordan up front now, barring injuries, until
the end of the season, with Beattie next in the pecking order.

i like the guy although he misses so many one-on-one chances. i think he is a good player and gives us goals, exactly what we need.

you call magic a fancy tap dancer and then mention the riverdance himself john o * shea?? seriously what game are you watching pal..

magic in my opinion has been let down by gordon strachan this season with the wee mans love affair with misser and the 50 chances he gives kenny.. magic must have been tearing his hair out watching misser get a game ahead of him..

magic comes accross as the sort of guy who revels in confidence and needs to be the top dog and without doubt misser has * up magics season in my opinion,, his movement and finishing are on a different planet to misser and the sooner strachan stops picking players out of loyality and the like the better..

my opinion is that misser lenny jaroshit are more willing and always on time etc. in training and give no lip to the gaffer while the more obviouslly talented riordan tommy g and magic are halve arsed on the training front but rub the ultra punctical perfectionest strachan the wrong way.. i sense petulence from gordon and a stubborn streak that cost us beating an anverage ac milan
