another brown envelope job for the referee... we are denied two penalties. one is a stonewaller the other was soft but defo contact inside box and nakas pushed over... a penalty.
the ref should be searched on his way out for an envelope full o money from them mafia wanks.

    * happens in football, just cause this is an Italian team the Mafia is involved, the better team won. Celtic coudlnt score over 210 minutes and thats what the game was lost on. Proves a quality striker is needed at CP.

hopefully strachs will not go down the saint martin o'neil road of keeping faith with his favourite players and he clears out a few players and signs the players we need to progress through this stage next year.

not seen too much fot his so far, dropping gravesen etc, so hopefully he continues in this vein and we can crack on from here. we have a bright future with the likes of big mick and sno, however some changes are needed abliet not many. maybe just someone a-la henrik, a guy u can rely on when there is no other hope, wishful thinking though eh.

na ,thats a cop out, * happens yes, but a 'top class' referee does not miss the infringements at both stonewall penalties, he had very good views at both, once again the man in the middle done more than the 22 men on the pitch in deciding what team goes through to the next round,
after a great match it is a crying shame.
but on to bigger and better times ahead there's a lot to build on
    hail hail

Not biased IMO-he was just rubbish and so was the 1940s linesman. Made mistakes both ways all night although the costly ones were ours.

I don't think any referee would be strong enough to award the away team a penalty after 4 minutes in the San Siro.

Bigger teams get the decisions in european competition, always have...always will.

Take Nakas penalty claim , he was giving free kicks all night if you got a push in the back and fell over but when Naka gets pushed to the ground in the box he waves play on :97: ...Agree with GD that the big teams always get the decisions ...Maybe we can go at least one better next year and reach at least the last 8 :50:

Jarosik was more annoyed with the linesmen, who failed to notice
the stonewall penalty too, and were arrogant and aggressive to the Celtic
    players all night..

Yeah. You're right, we shouldn't have bothered boarding the flight to Milan. Should just have awarded the tie to Milan as soon as the draw was made.

I think we've got a top striker. The problem was the lack of intent to support JVOH from the midfield. Cant really criticise the striker(s) if they dont get a supply of chances.

Yes of course they weren't penalties, don't people know that Paolo Maldini has immunity against hand ball? It's a special rule made just for him.

And pushing a player over in the box right before a shot? Why that's completely legal according to the new FIFA ruleset written by Kerr O'Connor! (these rules only apply to players and teams that Kerr O'Connor thinks are better than Celtic)

have to agree, tic had 2 stonewallers denied,
and, i dont think - if given - milan would have scored 3 against us.
but look on the positive we have a young team gaining experience who should only get better, with some more quality signings to come roll on the champions league 07-08.
    we may better ourselves :celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

The same can be said of Milan. They needed a midfielder to do the business infront of goal.....

It's time Boruc learned to close his legs when a forward shoots at him..
He's been nutmegged too often this way...

He opens his legs more often than a bride on her wedding night..

I don't think that he was corrupt, just not good. Both were pens. Without question.

too many to list of present and past.
dont think the ref saw first incident but the linesman must have!
second one i think naka tried to roll the ball with him but lost it ...if he had control it would have been given.
ref was not too bad to be honest

Ref has been quoted on the Celtic Teletext pages about the penalty claims and contradicts himself by saying that the movement by Maldini was instinctive and the terminology was ball to hand ...Come on a minute if Maldini has made a move to the Ball then thats a Penalty ...If he hadnt moved his hands and the ball had struck it then Ball to Hand yes ???

Says the push on Naka Wasnt a Foul end of :97: ..Im sorry but those 2 decisions alone have denied us from having one of the greatest nights in Celtics History :54:
