    well they were created in the early 2000's but didn't put out an album until 2008 so they're fairly new, and fairly unknown i guess but like you said it's great looking for gems on youtube or wherever.

    Not a huge rap fan, I chose Jay Z based on Reasonable Doubt and the Black Album in particular.

    Always found Biggie Smalls and Tpac to be massively over rated.

    Biggie. Flow, wordplay, stories, he had it all. Two albums before he was murdered, both perfect - and not a bad song on either.

    Nas is a close second for me, followed by Big L and then Jay.

    At their peak, has to be Nas. Nothing has and ever will IMO beat Illmatic, most consistant for me probably Eminem, and again in my opinion would already be classed as the greatest rapper ever if he was black.
