i think you need to be afraid of your manager

and the players would respect him for surviving all that he's been through

    and, he doesnt bullshit

i love lenny but i see bulshit has started to creep into his post match interviews etc, soemthing he promised he would never do

All we need to know about Mark Wilson we learned when big Cousins brushed him aside like he didn't exist at Parkhead.Mark Wilson is not good enough to be Celtic's right back. You are right, there are serious issues with this Celtic team and it is going to take root and branch surgery to sort it all out, my reckoning is that Lennon is NOT the man for the job, I didn't fancy him for it in the first place.

I tell you what, John Hartson has a good honest heart and knows his football, and would make a good future Celtic manager one day I reckon.

    Spot on as usual Doc!
Could the reason Lennon has it in for stokes be down to there on the field clash while stokesy was at falkirk???

If theres any truth to that then its an utter utter disgrace on Lennons behalf!

we haven't spent the required amount to get in a really good yin 1m here or there obviously aint enough for a decent centre half

    * how many have we got ? we must have about 10 central defenders and none of them are very good
except for maybe mulgrew and he came through our youth system and we let him go

i reckon we need some serious defensive coaches/scouts

It's hardly surprising, since what he has done is just parrot the kneejerk reaction, and pick on the usual scapegoats.

Oh and add a couple of genius innovations of his own, like throwing a Welsh teenager into an Old Firm game in place of an etablished right back who's been one of our most consistent players of the past year.

If there's something in my original post you think is incorrect, why don't you enlighten me, show me where I'm going wrong? I think you'll agree that just replying "stupid post" advances the discussion by approximately zero. :50:

    this!!!

i said this pre season when i was discussing whether Lennon should have a twitter... i said at the time it makes him seem like hes just another part of the gang....that its immature of him

im all for the old school of manager who disciplines but who knows how to get the best out of there players

the way some of our players who were outstanding last season have went this season thern id say not only is Lennon tactically naive but his man mangment skills may leave a lot to be desired!!

I have suspected that for a long long time. Lennon looks the sort of guy that carries a grudge, just like his pal Strachan did.I heard before that Lennon and Strachan always had wee tete a tetes and cups of tea together after every game, and the rest of the Celtic squad didn't like that cozyness between them.

some of my two bob, lenny got it completely wrong, the lineup was wrong. Frankly i would have gone with

    Wilson K.Wilson Mulgrew El Kad
    Forrest Ki Kayal Ledley
    Hooper Stokes

Rangers were getting the upper hand on us last year as soon as they found out how to deal with the hooper, samaras master plan, they have caught on and we keep playing into their hands. rangers know if they play defensive against us they lose, the play attacking then they will score goals and could win the game, our lineup was neither attacking nor defensive it was frankly a shambles. if it aint broke don't facking change it, 4-4-2 is how we play, 3 midfielders and one winger and two strikers of hooper and stokes.

hartson is right in some cases, not all, ledley should have been playing on the left to allow Ki and kayal more room and space to orchestrate, instead we were overrun and our cm just disappeared and had no influence on the game. Rangers have shown they are learning from mistakes but we keep making the same ones, schoolboy defending, zonal marking, changing the team all the time. Lennon is not learning enough from his mistakes.

I actually have to agree with the majority of what's said. He's clearly been getting a lot of feed back back from fans on twitter etc and he's just come out and said what needs to be said, he's said what the fans are saying, so hats off to him.

And dropping our on form striker for our biggest game so far makes even more sense... Lennons just a yes man for the board anyway... was probaly desmond that ordered him signed

BBJ usually talks complete and utter * in his column but there's a lot that I agree with there, the majority of it in fact.

Starting Matthews and Commons are the things I disagree with.

EDIT: Forgot about Majstorovic too, he was rightly nowhere near the team.

A would have started the exact same team as you mate, and your post is my thoughts exactly. thats our strongest line up and it would have been far more efective with ledley in our midfield to give us that bite, stokes and hooper are our best strikers and would have troubled them more than samaras, who is innefective and is miles away from hooper/ no link up play what so ever between the two.....

Lenny needs to drop whats worked at ibrox in the past for him, he also needs to drop samaras, he wasnt the worst on sunday but he,s a scapegoat because his goal scoring record ISNT GOOD ENOUGH, if he was working his * off and creating goals he wouldnt get booed or slated but the truth of the matter is he is no were near good enough to be at our club

    My feeling too oranBhoy :50:
Probably Lawwell that signed Stokes and Lennon signed Hooper. That is where the bad feeling exists I reckon. Lennon looks like he is a " Yes Man ".

Well said BBJ. Took a lot for him to come out and say that. Fair play to him. The only bit I disagree with is the part about Matthews. Going to be a real talent but too early for him to go into a game against the huns
