I wasn't impressed with the huns today. They've got a decent goalie and two centre backs who kick the ball the way they are facing. Their full backs are very weak and are there to be exploited.The middle of the park showed nothing special and Boyd upfront on his own is a waste of a jersey. The only chance they have is from an Adam free kick but we will have a decent goalkeeper so that's not really a problem. Celtic's biggest danger is themselves and any hangover they may have from Milan. I'm not unduly worried.

 

Back to the future it is then. I really hope Wattie can bring back the great days of John Greig (as a manager ) when we saw such football greats as Dave McKinnon, Colin Jackson, Ally Dawson, Ian Redford and Colin McAdam.

After watching the huns yesterday I don't think for a second that we'll lose to that pile of *.

Sure, they haven't conceded much under Wattie but they haven't came up against the best attacking players in the league under him and I don't remember them creating a single chance in a game where Hibs were nothing short of diabolical.

I do get the feeling however that they'll just defend and have little or no interest in actually scoring a goal. They'll be desperate not to lose to us, it is for this reason alone I believe it will be a tight scoreline. 1-0

 

what mr smith lacks in talent within his side he will more than make up for with his will to win attitude and dont disgrace the jersey syndrome that le guen failed to instill in that hun team. be in no doubt this will be the toughest hun team we'll play in a long time... they'll be up for it. its up to us to be ready for them and put them in their place....... hail hail... a narrow win for the hoops 1-0 with jvoh getting the goal.
