I would rather we just be professional and play our strongest team until the league is won.

McCourt should be making more appearances, regardless of Rangers circumstances.

Your like a single issue party:icon_mrgreen: Personally I think this team is still gelling and i would play what we consider to be our best team. Seriously the blue nose mentality will be that anything less than winning by over 10 points and we will still be hearing that it doesny count for the next 10 years.

I agree about securing maximum points but i'd like to see Paddy get more chances before the end of the season.

I agree. Haven't seen him play in ages, and really want to see him play again, hopefully prove a lot of the haters wrong.

Feel sorry for him. He's at the best part of his career playing for his favourite club, and not getting a game.

There does seem to be a contrast of opinions on McCourt. I do admit that he is an exciting player and every goal he scores is a peach. However, I wouldn't be giving him a game in a hundred years if I was the manager right now. Far too much talent in our team, and youngsters who look very promising. I'm not a huge fan of Paddy, I don't dislike the guy, but I just think he's quite a two dimensional player in respect to his defensive contributions, if you look at Joe Ledley or Scott Brown, who offer great support defensively and offensively, they're still improving with every game, you can't tell me McCourt deserves a shot ahead of players of that ilk.

I'd sell Paddy as he is not needed by our club, and he's 29 this year, hardly getting any younger, so he has to move on if he wants to further his career. I think we've got too many players anyway, I'd rather see young guys like McGeough coming in, and we've got Ibrahim and Commons and Samaras all battling for McCourt's position. Let's be realistic.

Why did Lennon dismiss £1.2 mill in the window from Blackpool if that's the case?

Because Lennon hasn't been managing the team this whole time, it's Paddy that makes all the important decisions, including team line ups and transfers.

As for why he hasn't played much this season, I'm guessing he's concentrating more on winning the league than simply entertaining the fans by making fools out of the * SPL defences.

Would rather watch Paddy play for another team than not play at all. Wish Derry could have him back :)

I would love to see at somepoint this season:

    Forster

    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Izzy

    Broony Wanyama

    McGeouch Ibrahim Paddy

    Hooper
That would be sexy. Not really anymore easy games to test it out on though.
