Anyone who drinks alcohol and doesn't support the regulation of drugs such as Ecstasy is a massive hypocrite, yes.

Of course you are allowed to give your view - by the same token I'm allowed to criticise your view, no?

Sorry are we talking about alcohol here, or Ecstasy? I know which one kills more... (proportionally and numerically)

Strongbow! Pffttt I am talking Kopparberg :56:

But yeah there are some that wont really care, because lets face it they dont care now. But say for a drug like Coke, well many would rather that was pure. You pay a fortune for a gram of * that is mainly caffeine pills. Drug dealers make massive margins, so yeah including tax seeing as the government could not cut it with other drugs I do not think the price difference would be that marked.

Sadly though I also agree it will never happen. It would make sense though.

    :56: my bad I meant Brothers/Kopparberg lololol.

Aye I get where you're coming from :50: It could be either way, I'm still not decided on what I think would be best.

The government should legalize certain drugs, there is a huge amount of money and resources wasted by trying to catch people with drugs like marijuana etc... which if taken in respectful doses are less harmful than equivalent alcohol or even smoking. If smoking and alcohol is legal and regulated then other drugs should be the same way.

We talk about other parts of society needing to come into the 21st century and so too the government, far too slow on realising that part of the drug problem could be solved by regulating it as a legal industry and also release funds wasted from keeping it as an illegal substance. I would be for certain drugs to be legalized but there are some that should be kept illegal. Personally never done any kind of drug and i never will because i just don't like the idea of putting something like that in my body, and i drink maybe once or twice a month so i am not influenced much by alcohol either.

It's hardly risking your life using a drug dealer, the chances of you dying from E's is very slim.

I tend to find not taking illegal drugs normally does the trick, don't know why anyone would do. People can't sit there and complain about bad drugs, you shouldn't be taking them in the first place.

That's right, because legal drugs (especially that Scottish favourite alcohol) never hurt anyone, did they?

I never said that. But at the end of the day, alcohol is LEGAL and ecstasy is ILLEGAL, so end of story. There's just no need to break the law.

Governments make billions from alcohol and cigarettes so why would they not legalise other drugs to make a lot more money? Because it's incredible harmful.

I think that is a perfect example of some of the non-educated closed-minded people that can be found in our society today. Alcohol attributed to over 9000 deaths in the UK last year, more than any registered illegal drug-related death in the last 10 years.

The pill probably didn't even contain MDMA, there's probably no Ecstasy in this supposed 'Ecstasy' tablet, obviously a shady dealer looking to make a quick buck.

Ecstasy has been proven safer than riding a horse - look it up.
