Dan Majstorovic?

I think that he can be used but only as back-up like people are saying. He's 34 now so we know he doesn't have the pace and he's just too much of a bombscare to actually play for any length of time.

Mind you, in saying that it didn't take him like to ignite against Sion - only 42 seconds it took before he exploded.

I think Wilson and Mulgrew as definite starters for me, then Rogne for cover if one of those two get injured.

 

I would be starting Mulgrew and Wilson.

He's not as bad as some are making out though.

 

he should only be used for backing up the back-up.

 

please dont play him, he breaks up every good play we have with terrible balls to either the linesman, the ball boys/girls and his uncle jimmy in the stand.

Some of you who are writing things down here should go back at about one year from now and reda what you said about him that time: great, big Dan, good header, good positioning, good passing.....everything good or even very good.
Let me tell you he then played at the same level as he is playing now. Never braught something extra to the team. Only has cost Celtic some young players to fit in the team.

Last season he done us a good shift. Certainly better than Big Jos. He has not been impressive so far this season in the slightest. But we do have to take into account the guys age, at this stage of a footballers career we often see sharp declines in fitness and ability. Unfortunately for me, this is exactly whats happening to big dan. Age is probably getting the better of him now.

 

always been supportive of maj but i hope that Kelvin and Mulgrew continue in the centre

 

I took pelters from some on here as I said he was a dud, while most had him down as an orc slayer. Ditto for Hooiveld.

 

Lets remember their is a bit of an age gap there! mulgrew is at his peak!!

 

thought dan did well last year but not a clue what's happened to him. towards tail end of last year and so far this year he's not up to scratch. maybe time he hung up his boots, gettin on a bit which is undoubtedly contributing to his dip in performance

 

In a interview with swedens biggest sportssite Danny said " I was injured before the Motherwell game so i decided to rest up.. but i will be back in the eleven for the Rangers game ", i like dan, but he should no way punt mulgrew when badr has arrived

 

You would think his experience would be vital in big games, especially in Europe. Last season opinion was divided on the big man and this season he has went from howler to *.

Possibly, due to his age he needed a full break and clearly he didn't get that - perhaps this is the main factor in his apparent loss of form this season?

Either way if he comes back into the team we have to get behind him, as we don't need the last line of defence feeling under the cosh from his own fans!

For now though, I hope Wilson & Mulgrew continue to do well and grow as a partnership!
