    The ticket office is closed so going to try on Monday. The best place to go for a cheap beer is Montaditos. You can get a bocadillo and a pint for 2 euros, a bargain. I know loads of good areas to go to too. The best bit for nightlife is Malasana, metro Tribunal. PM me if you need to know more details about bars etc.

    My advice is to avoid "Irish" pubs as they are usually overpriced gimmick pubs for tourists, and are about as Irish as the Archbishop Desmond Tutu.:56:

    Me and the Mrs are Season Ticket Holders but very rarely attend away games apart from the odd cup tie. We are talking about trying to get to the Udinese game on Dec 15th. How would I got about getting tickets?

    How likely is it me and my mate will be able to get tickets to athletico madrid away?

    We need to get time off work (so need to know soon) and stuff and I have never been to an away European match, my attendance record is good but my mate only just got his ST and as far as I know hasn't been to any away games.

    Also is it better to book your own flights or try and get a package from Thomas Cook? Cheers for any info.

    They will go to season ticket holders first then those left (there will be some) will go on general sale, then any left will go on single sale. Im guessing we are waiting for appeal results before they go on sale
