Busquets is absolutely perfect for Barcelona. People underrate just how good a footballer he actually is. He's got all the passing and touch like his midfield pals but he's also brilliant defensively.

 

Agree, busquets fits into the way barca play better than toure but i still think toures a better player, i have doubts how good busquets would be in another team as a defensive mid.

But take Busquetes away from them, and I'd imagine he'd look far less impressive. He's easily their weakest midfielder.

Yaya has been incredible since joining City. In fact, he's playing even better than during his time with Barcelona. More is needed from him and he's delivering.

Doubt I'll see a better passer of the ball than Alonso, though, so he got my vote. I'd pick him as a deep-lying playmaker.

 

I don't agree obviously. Busquets is the superior player now in my opinion.

 

He did amazing for Spain in a different system. Kept Fabregas out of the team.

 

He's more than good enough for Barca mate.

 

Toure has alot more to his game than Busquets.

 

Bigger, stronger, faster, better shot, better tackler, about the same positional awareness.

The only thing that Busquets has on Yaya is he's a better passer of the ball, a deptartment that Yaya doesn't exactly lack in.

 

Busquets is a more intelligent player. There's a reasons he isn't playing for the best team in the world.

Yeah Man City offered an extremely large amount of money for a player that they can replace with Busquets, in that sense Toure was surplus to requirements as all the things he is phenomanal at as Devlin has stated were being performed as well by other players.

Toure is without a doubt a better individual player than Sergio Busquets.

 

And because he fits in the system very, very well and he is an excellent footballer. Just not as excellent as Yaya is.

If Pep thought Toure was better he would still be at Barca. City have offered loads of money for Iniesta and he's still there.

Iniesta is a different story, there is no other player in the world that can do his job. Like I've said though Busquets is perfectly suited to Barcelona and is a very good player, he's just no Yaya Toure.

 

Toure and Busquets are both great players. Busquets is better for Barca and Toure is better for City.

Toure is an all round better player, he is a better attacking player than Busquets.

However I voted Busquets as we are looking for the best player in the DM position.

At this moment of time you think Thiago could replace a player like Iniesta? Maybe in 2-3 years but that statement coming from a Barcelona fan is lunacy based on the fact that you're currently watching him rip apart Villareal.

The only player in the world who could do Iniesta's job as well as Iniesta is Messi but why the * would you want Messi to do that?
