regardless of the score tonight, the board and management team better see that the team atm isnt good enough for the season ahead.

once again the board have been waving the balance sheet as if its a trophy. spending what £1m in total over the summer. just not good enough.

if they dont get the cheque book out, and i dont mean spending £10m on one player, but spending a couple of million on 3-4 players, then i fear it will be another title for the huns.

 

same old * man.. i'm starting to think that the board dont really give a *. i mean really, everyone on here can see the problems we have, but the board?.. are they blind or incompetent.. its gotta be one or the other.

the next 45 mins is the biggest for a few years as we will be playing the early rounds of the europa cup in june next year if we dont win the league this season and if that happens the board should walk as well as neil lennon .

The board are taking advantage of the celtic fans pure and simple. The crowds keep showing up in numbers and thats all they care about.

spend millions when a club like sion are beating you whilst not spending millions....got to ask questions why

 

History will show that Celtic boards have never spent money if they think they can get away with it. If they think there's enough on board to beat the huns then there is no way they will splash the cash.

no they dont. you ever heard of going into a wee bit of debt? the league title is worth £12-13m this year. spend an extra £8m or so to give us the very best chance to win the league, which would then pay off the £8m that weve just spent. and the team improves as a result.

or we could not spend anything hope that everything is ok and everyone is happy and the board can wave a nice little sheet of paper in the air.

 

We have been in plenty debt and the club are currently looking at players. We are nearly ALWAYS in debt

 

looking at players? looking gets you nothing. how about actually signing players BEFORE the season starts.

football clubs arent around to make people money, they are there to win trophies and please their supporters.

 

Some fans are happy with a decent bank sheet and no titles and pish performances like tonight.

Im sure they are related to the board though.

I hope this fondness for mediocrity doesnt catch on with the rest of us fans who want the board to spend. And spend * big as well!!!

 

i think fans also ned to remember the club gave us titles under MON and strachan and should have last season if not for a late collpase....financial times are changing and the spending of the 2000 onwards cant be repeated now as the income isnt the same.

Its the sad reality.
