I would hardly call it a 'shambolic' display. We were in control of practically the whole match and dominated possession of the ball. We just had no cutting edge in the final third.

Indeed, never heard so much rubbish in my life.

No one wants to be second best, it's just that some supporters are actually willing to support our manager and the players and be relatively patient about it whilst others revel in short-termism, knee * reactions, abuse and have the spoilt brat act perfected down to a tee.

We've not won the title for 3 years. How long is short term in your opinion?

We do not have a divine right to win every single home game in the SPL. Obviously losing at home to St. Johnstone is a very poor result but every team in the world suffers a poor result at some point.

We're 4 games into our league campaign and we've won 3 of them. Hardly a crisis is it?

4 games into this season is early but it doesn't really answer my question. Imo the reaction to today goes a fair bit deeper than one result. It basically showed how little quality, even by SPL standards, we have.

never said it was a crisis mate but its not good enough!

i was ill watching that performance today.

there was only one team who had the real hunger and desire to win that game today, and it wasnt us!

and for me, that is really worrying!

Wondered how long it would take before today's defeat was made the fault of the crowd.

Must be hard for a 33 y/o professional to master the basics against guys on a sixteenth of his salary when people in the stands are getting so, er...exasperated. I mean, who could work in those conditions?

Times like this you realise how many of us have it easy in our jobs.

Mate, I've not made that many comments regarding today's game. All I am saying is that quite a few people found out today what I, and a few others, have known for a while. We are not even close to being as good as a lot of our fans think and the refusal to buy at a decent level will be costly. Certainly at European level.

I think that is why we are seeing some silly comments. It was not that much of a surprise to me. I already know that too many of our players are not good enough. Not saying I expected to lose today and I hope I dont sound arrogant but I'm also realistic.

I know you didn't say it was a crisis mate, I was just making the point.

I don't think we lost today because of a lack of hunger, I just think that our attacking players did not play well and the Maloney - Stokes partnership did not work out at all.

For the record, I am not a fan of playing Maloney up front.

I'm really not that worried about today's result tbh. These things happen. What is worrying me is the number of injuries we seem to be picking up and the players that are getting injured. Gary Hooper's injury means we have to rely on Samaras, Maloney and Murphy a bit more than I am comfortable with and if Charlie Mulgrew is injured now then we have serious problems at left-back.
