Greatest fans or most fickle?

fans have the right to moan , playing in a diddy league and not getting a point at home against a a team that our 2nd 11 should be beating gives us that rite, we no we are have not been good of late and why you bring up sack the manager , sounds like something a hun would be spouting

 

Some * in this thread, if our players arent much better than the rest of the SPL how did we manage to finish 29 points ahead of hearts in third place ? Also we are allowed to moan at that type of performance but there is a bit of an over reaction with people saying sack lennon and start spending big money

 

I think people have a right to moan do i want lennon out certainly not ? am i quiestioning some of his decisions lately yes i am , will i ever support anyone other than celtic never in a million years i am a die hard fan who follows this team regardless win lose or draw but when were totally * i will stand up and say were * and today we werep iss poor and the players let down the fans who turned up in there numbers to see them we might be in a * league like u says but were a much better and bigger team than st johnstone or fc sion ever will be and the last 2 performances have been shamefull to watch and when lennon has had choices to make in the last 2 matches for me hes got it wrong .

Huns win 3 in a row and now sit top again with a * clueless tv game show host, out of Europe soon. you wonder why im angry, and before you say im spoilt etc... I was there for the bad times in the 90's, at least then there was an excuse, there is no excuse for this *.

 

Spot on mate, time our players got a hard kick up the *. I am fed up hearing that it's hard going playing two games a week, try doing a real job like a miner, nurse, bin collector for 50 or 60 hours a week.

Look at the salaries they pick up every week, it's the equivilent of a years salary for many of our supporters, it's time they realised what a privilage it is the play football for a living.

I don't expect them to win every game in a season, just give us some serious effort, that's something that many fail to do !!!

 

if that is true we should finish what 3rd or 4th in the leauge. We will finish at least second by a large margin and everyone knows that. If you truly belive our players are not much better than the rest of the leauge then we should moan about the board or the manager because a Celtic team that is marginaly better than average spl teams is tottaly unacceptable. This is the best club in the country and one of the biggest in the world. Everyone associated with the club will be throughly upset by this not just the fans

 

Don't think so. If we lose to Rangers in 3 weeks, he will be lucky to be in a job at Christmas. Ross County, Braga, Utrecht(playing 4-3-3 away whilst defending a 2 goal lead), Fir Park(after pumping rangers 3-0), 3 draws at home at Christmas, Inverness, Douglas park. The board will start taking a dim view of these defeats/dropped points

 

I think people just get angry and frustrated when Celtic have a bad result and end up having a rant to get it out of their system. With the occasional exception, I think most people don't mean any harm in what they're saying and calm down again after a while. Sometimes people say silly things when they're angry, we all do it.

People just need to keep things in perspective but that is easier said than done when you've just had a disappointing result.

Personally I'm not too worried by today's result. I still believe in Neil Lennon and I still believe in our players. We will win the league this season, I am confident of that.

I'll always be faithful through and through but that doesn't change the fact that today was totally unacceptable. We've just been beat by a bottom half of the table team at home, supporters are obviously going to moan.

Celtic are AVERAGE, players who come in for the injured ones are NOT GOOD enough.

Yes, I agree it was not good enough but spitting bile at the players won't help and certainly is not the actions of the worlds best supporters. I seriously think that statement is now becoming an embarrassment.

My point is that we are not the greatest team right now and it's not the end of the world. Be thankful your a Celtic fan....

If the only reason some of our fans support Celtic is to see us win every week and if we don't hurl a tirade of abuse at the players and manager, then maybe we are not the team for them. I dont support Celtic for footballing reasons. I was born a Celtic fan.

It really annoys me when I see all this over reaction pish. I dont like people abusing players who play for Celtic. I put my trust in the manager and let him decide who is fit to play for my club. I wont disrespect the Club by acting like a deranged nutter shouting abuse.

 

Never heard it mate. Never missed a game for 6 years except in Europe. Prided ourselves on being Celtic fans, not shouting at players. Maybe one or two did but not on the scale we have these days.

That probably describes me, devastated with that performance today and want to vent, but there's a long way to go in the season.

I am more worried now than I was at the start of the season though. It will take a fair few good results to make me feel as confident as I was about winning the title at the start of the season.

Just listen to Lennon's post-match interview, he's as * off as most of us at that performance today.

 

no over reaction here! the facts are there ! we do not posess the quality players to come in and do the job like kayal,hooper,izzy etc! instead we have below average like sammy,maloney,murphy etc! we have just lost to a team that will no doubt be battling relegation this season by loseing it at home!you happy? fans spend fortunes to see a good celtic team that should pump teams like this at home! today we didnt get this . * poor hee haw about anyone being bad supporters.
