If he can head the ball and he's 6ft plus I would take him because that would probably be 15 goals a season for us at least.

 

I have seen him play quite a bit as i watch alot of Italian football, he scores more with his feet than his head, has good control, has a pretty good finish, and can link up well, I think he would be a good signing for a couple of seasons.

 

Thats fine mate but as long as he has aerial ability in his locker, because it is costing us loads of goals not having a striker who can score with the head.

We really are getting links to duds. A guy on twitter now linking us to Marek Bakos. Done * all his whole career and then has 5 goals in 4 games against * team in CL qualification rounds. I know you can't take anything from twitter, my point is more that even there we can't get linked with anyone good!

I hate when people say that Moravcik was an unknown talent! He might not have been heard of in Scotland but he was WELL known throughout eastern europe and France. He was part of a very strong Czechoslovakia team in the late 80's-90's and also played many games for Slovakia when they split so he was a PROVEN INTERNATIONAL player by the time he joined us

Kutuzov is more of a winger actually. hes a great player. would be great here i think. not what we need though.

Folk seem to presume that if we are willing to shell out the going rate, then the players will come here. It ain't the case. If we're talking about proven quality players at the peak of their careers, the great majority of them do not want to play in the SPL. They wouldn't come even if we offered them more money than they could get from a club in a rich league - which we can't afford to do anyway.

lads i will tell you one thing....i'm from greece and 10 minutes ago i heard in the greek radio that kutuzov is close to agreeing terms with a greek club that has just gained promotion to the first division....it's dejavu again like last year when we had boateng on trial and then he signed with the most mediocre club in greece.....

it's getting ridiculous really,celtic football club being linked with such players and having trials with forgotten footballers...

wake up please we are celtic this is not what we deserve,it's shocking.

I dont think that is very true and very fair picking on Lawell, he has been a great asset to celtic football club, if it wasnt for him where would our debts be now?? they would be spirralling out of control, to see Arsenal were looking fo him to join them last year goes to show how much a good job he has done with our finances. He has backed lennon to the hilt...hes brought in several players in his time at the helm and would be the current champion if he hadnt blown it at inverness.

 

according to FFP ,we can only spend what we turnover, not what profit we make, so we can actually spend almost 30 million without breaching thos rules so that excuse is bollocks

we need a tall cf who can head. give rasmussen a chance. if not then whats wrong with spending a bit and getting danny graham from watford? championship top scorer lasts season. or Becchio from Leeds?
