    We need a quality striker in badly, we don't have the necessary backup when either hooper or stokes are injured and it is costing us badly at the minute.

    I suspect (and I hope I am wrong) we are going to end up with a second rate, old striker with a poor strike rate. If that's the route we are going to go down we might as well just use Murphy who will win headers and bully defenders all day long.

    What we really need is something different that can provide both consistency and a spark when we have 11 men between us and the goals.

    Cant see Lenny going for 2nd rate striker when he knows whats at stake this season,it would just be adding to the deadwood we got,we managed to get Keane for 6 months,so hoping we can get someone of that ilk in again.Heard we dropped our interest in Bianchi,disappointed in that because i thought he was just on the limit of our price range for that one big signing.
