The funny thing is on this website, the same people who are slagging off this team and lenny now will be the first to turn round in a month or so time and be saying how we're world beaters and the best team in years if we beat Sion thursday, we're in europe and have good results.

People need to look at themselves and then make their points! Ok, i agree we're no where near where we should be in terms of the players that should have been brought in so far but Lenny's been trying to bring them in! and i'm not trying to say that Lenny's not made tactical mistakes but it's the people slagging him off now who were hailing him last week and will be if we have some sussessful results!

Get behind the team now! They've disapointed but we're Celtic supporters faithful through and through!

    Hail Hail!

If you look back on the posts your claim is untrue.

Many more have stated the same points and got a response.

    Are they lying too ?

    I'm not picky.
It may be a results driven business but you can't expect some fans to heap * on to the team when they play a crap couple of games one minute by booing them and calling certain players all the names under the sun and then heap praise on them when the same players win thinking they are suddenly the best.

That would be like saying Samaras should stay because he's excellent if he scores the winner on Thursday! :31:

He said the right things in his after match interview. Totally raging like all of the fans that witnessed this match! The team on the park should have been good enough to see off St J even if we were missing some better players. What happened to Mulgrew at half time? Surely he was'nt taken off for a tactical point of view as Mark Wilson came on and was terrible (I am a big fan of Mark!). He looked totally out of sorts and uncomfortable at Left Back.

Felt that Neil's tactics on Thursday were terrible!!

Come on. It was a poor result. Let's not dwell. Very early days.

Quite easy when the front players didn't take the chances that came their way and played as they did. St Johnstone's goal was a deflected goal as well and I don't remember THEM pinning US in for three quarters of the game.

I doubt that Lennon is really defending any of the team but like him I am more unhappy with our front players more than our defense today as too many times they just tried to walk the ball into the net and make a "perfect goal". Too many slack passes from midfield as well. The only player for me that was wreckless in our defense overall was Majstorovic. Mulgrew might not have been the best either but he was better than Desperate Dan.

When Celtic are having a tough time you appear. Where were you for the end of last season (bar Inverness)? No doubt you won't answer this.

No but they would soon boo him when he went back to NOT scoring. So it's ok to praise them one minute and then boo and call them names the next? :97:

I would like it if he scored the winner in any match but it wouldn't change my mind about him because he is not good enough and needs to go and that's the difference - fans who only likes a player when they do something good and not sticking by him when he goes through a sticky patch. And Samaras isn't going through a sticky patch either as he's been crap for the last two years.

Our defense was * today, unquestionably so. In particular Danny and Mark, though I would question as to whether he was at fault for that himself - he doesn't look like he's comfortable out on the left. Wanyama doesn't look comfortable at centre back. If I'm honest, I can only remember Matthews bombing forward, which was largely unsuccessful.

Stokes and Commons had a shocker today. Ledley didn't really get into the game. Brown put a lot of heart into it unlike on Thursday but I think yet again he was disappointing. Ki was hit and miss. Thought Maloney was actually ok today, though he gets knocked off the ball too easily.

I reckon Neil's comments about players knocking on doors was partially aimed at McCourt, especially after the story about him wanting to leave due to him being frustrated at lack of chances was printed in the papers.

He was very right to lament our sides performance today. I do hope this is a wake up call to the board in terms of transfer funds. I know it's a knee * reaction, but today was completely unacceptable.
