    Wee Shaun Maloney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Naw. But honestly I disagree with the above about Paddy. I think that he always puts in an 110% effort. It just doesn't always work out for the guy. And it doesn't always help when he's only given 9 or 10 minutes on the pitch at the very end of a game when he hasn't played in a few weeks. Give the bhoy a break.

For me it's Ledley, Broon, and Mark Wilson. Its a bit surprising no one else mentioned broon. Seems like he's just a workhorse in our midfield. He just never stops trying to win the ball back and maintain possession for us. Ledley and Wilson are a given.. For Wilson its because he loves this club and wants nothing more than to be in the starting eleven week in week out and you have to respect that. A proper Celt.

Joe Ledley is the unsung hero at Celtic right now. Before anyone goes off on me, I'm not saying he never gets credit for his performances, but I just don't think he gets enough of it. You may need to watch the game closely to see just how influential he is, but he has definitely made his mark since he came here.

The obvious choice has to be Beram Kayal though. Has he actually put a foot wrong since joining us last summer? I rate him higher than I rate Izaguirre, purely because I've seen Izzy make a couple of mistakes since he arrived (they're rare obviously, but still there). He had an absolute shocker against Inverness last season (although most of them did in that game).

Izaguirre, Kayal and Ledley are the most consistent. I would have to go for Ledley because he has probably played the most games out of the three.

in fact loovens has to be our most consistent performer. consistently attrocious. i mean the amount of thought and time you'd need to put in to be as bad as that, it would be criminal not to mention his efforts

Would agree with this, they are the most consistent.

However, I think it's worth noting that Ki and Mulgrew have improved this aspect of their games admirably!

Ledley and Kayal. Ki also has been consistent when he has got a run in the team.

Kayal, Brown and Mulgrew the 2nd half of last season and I think when Maloney is fit he always adds something to the team.

Ledley is consistently good, true. But very rarely outstanding.

Aren't most consistent players generally OK, but not brilliant? Jamie Carragher, for example.
